  1. Apparently nothing has changed from build 7077 :(
  2. What other addons are you using? I'm on build 7077 as well and cant get it to work at all.
  3. Chief, please list your complete specs including operating system and add-ons.
  4. I just tried the "fix" and it really screwed things up. Still had some white issues in full screen mode, I could see some stuff, but mostly white and frames became worse than a slide show. Still worked fine in window mode though. I'm starting to get the hint that this will not work in Windows 7 at all.
  5. What is the valid max value for LOD Radius? I thought it was 5.5 as per Nick's setup guide. :(
  6. Well then I might have to go back to 182.06. The only reason I wanted to try the 181.77 was because they were specifically listed under Windows 7 drivers on nvidia's site. I don't notice anymore graphic anomalies with DX10 though with these drivers.
  7. Hmmm what resolution are you running?
  8. I'm running out of ideas. I got rid of the white screen but now the effect doesn't work at all. I hit shift F12 and nothing at all changes. Everything is fine in window mode. It's just full screen mode does not want to work with this tweak. What resolution are you guys running? I'm at 1920x1200
  9. Ok now I need to ask those of you with no white screen problem, are you guys running motherboards that have nvidia chipsets?
  10. I've completed more testing with the ini file. It seems for me that occlusions and or shadows gives the white screen. If I disable occlusions and shadows, then I get no white screen. I verified this by initiating the certain effect of shadows or occlusions with the respective hot keys F10 and F8. However, I get no affect at all when in full screen mode now! I know whether or not the effect has been activated because I can press F12 to activate everything and then then F8 or F10 for a guaranteed white screen. But still I can't get the effect at all in full screen. I thought it might have been something to do with nhancer so I tried changing around a bunch of settings one by one and it made no difference. The documentation on the website about anti aliasing didn't help either. Must be the drivers. What drivers are you guys using? I'm on 181.77. I might have to switch back to the XG drivers I was using before.
  11. Yes I tried that and I tried installing with vista compatibility mode as well but neither worked. I had it working once when I was on build 7000. I can't figure out what it could be.
  12. D'OH! So much for the white screen problem being limited to certain vid cards lol.
  13. Hmmm maybe the white screen happens with certain vid cards. I'm running a 9800GTX and I get the white screen. Maybe I should pick up a GTX 280 since they are cheap. Can other people chime in on what vid cards they are using? Perhaps we can get to the bottom of this.
  14. That didn't help me. I'm still getting a white screen in full screen mode at any resolution other than the lowest setting. To people having this problem, see what happens when you bring up the fps counter, you can see stuff but most everything is white.
  15. Hmmm not a good choice if you ask me. The beta is out there so people can test it and work on patches for existing conflicting software. What other purpose does it serve? I can understand to an extent though. Still, this is the only program I'm having trouble running. Everything else works fine just as it did in Vista only better. That's a shame. I'm glad I downloaded the demo before I bought it.
