  1. Hi All, Major changes to the autogen have been made, the biggest you will notice is the file size. I have managed to rework the vector files and resolved some issue with autogen duplication causing a larger than usual file size. Many areas of vegetation across roads have been removed as well as some major reworking of the building autogen to remove some unusally sized autogen that appeared in a lot of areas. This versions is leaner and gives just as much depth as previous versions as well as tweaking the density to help with frame rate numbers. Head over to my recently revised website for more information about this product and feel free to send through any questions you have, which can be done on my website. www.nzscenery.co.nz Regards, NZScenery

  4. Hi All, Ok, as a result of some ongoing web server issues, I have moved my product to an online provider, such as the same one Ant Davison uses for his New Zealand photo scenery. You can purchase NZ Scenery Autogen from here. www.nzscenery.co.nz More info will be added to market the product. Regards, Kelvin

  8. Hi All, Well, I am excited to advise that my latest Autogen Scenery for entire New Zealand has been released. Version 2.0. Many improvements over the previous version have been achieved. Higher accuracy of vegetation, roads and tracks now cutting through vegetation, overall higher variation of vegetation and enhancements to the building autogen. I believe my scenery is the most accurate I have seen, put on top of photoreal scenery. The Coverage is second to none with the entire landscape covered by mostly vegetation and complimented with varying building density based on the location. I am offering full support and ongoing updates to even further improve and resolve any issues that may exist. With the many hundreds of thousands of square kilometres of covered terrain, you can surely now fly into your favourite airfield with accurate surrounding autogen. Take a look over at my website for more information. www.nzscenery.co.nz Regards, Kelvin

  12. Just thought I would respond a little clearer re the size. The reason for the file size is the density that I have used for the autogen, I am working to try and reduce the size whilst maintaining a satisfying density setting.
  13. Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I have used both LINZ and Koordinates data for all building footprints. Basically all data that could be used has been used. I have a major update I'm working on that is going to enhance what is already there.
  14. Hi Jose, I have just updated the purchase page to reflect this now, sorry about that, it's pretty useful info isn't it?
  15. Hi Tony, The data is from LINZ and Koordinates. I needed to ensure that as much of the photoscenery was covered by autogen, mainly for vegetation. To achieve this I processed data from these two sources. So in terms of coverage this is complete as we get. A bit long winded but I thought it couldn't hurt to explain a little. Cheers Hi Mike The reason for the altitude is to demonstrate the density and placement of the autogen, I can't do this close to the ground. However it doesn't mean we can't have lower altitude screenshots so I'll look into adding a few more in the gallery. Cheers

  18. Hi Frans, FTX GLOBAL and VECTOR aren't supported. NZScenery has been designed purely around Ant Davisons NZ Photoreal as the geodata I use matches almost perfectly to it and it is global coverage. This is without needing to create separate landclass like NZ Vector Landclass has done. Autogen cannot work solely on it's own. Autogen requires scenery bgl's to be able to place the autogen in their respective location. NZScenery uses Ants Photoreal because it has the imagery bgls with coordinates embedded for the autogen to sit on. However, I run ORBX NZSI and NZNI under Ant Davisons Photoreal as it places airports as well as using the 10m Mesh.
  19. My website is live. No orders yet but not far off. Cheers Kelvin Www.nzscenery.co.nz
  20. The autogen uses default vegetation and building textures. However, the textures have been hand picked to best represent the different vegetation types. I will be looking into custom textures in the future though. Even with default autogen you will notice a vast improvement due to the completeness of the autogen across the entire country as well as sitting on Ant Davison NZ photo scenery. This is a pretty unique product. Thanks for your interest
  21. Hi All, I have been working on a certain project for many months now, and, well, I am closing in on finishing it. After some testing i'll have it available to purchase at a small cost as it compliments another product Antony Davison's New Zealand Photoreal Scenery for the entire Country (and seamless too). His base photoreal scenery can be found here: https://gumroad.com/antdavison My goal has been to improve NZ scenery as a whole and so I have now found a way to do this by not only removing 99% of hand annotation but also using real world data for a more accurate display of vegetation, commercial, industrial, and residential areas. This is truly somehing that even surprised me as I learned to figure out how to use data that was not made for this purpose in its original form, by use of geospatial techniques, I have been able to reproduce a complete vegetation and building environment for New Zealand inside FSX and Prepar3d. I have a website which you can visit (although it is in maintenance mode at present as I am working hard to get it online). The site will give you a little more info about my product and what to expect in the addon package as well as purchase it at the very low cost of $14 NZD. My website is www.NZScenery.co.nz Once my website is running, you will be able to email me queries, problems, or plain old feedback. The feedback will help me improve the overall product over time. Thanks for any interest you have in my product and your patience while I get it ready. Regards, NZScenery

  23. This is like waiting for dinner; it could be as pungent as brussel sprouts on the boil or smelling the fresh smell of anzac biscuits baking in the early morning. IMHO, nobody buys a product to keep it from others unless; 1) they are a company with a competing product 2) they want to develop it as a closed line of business product 3) they want to grow the product and capitalise on it my two cents worth. Cheers, K.
  24. Bring on the Milviz 350i. By the sounds of it, the Milviz team will shoot this one out of the water. I have the B1900D and too it seems a few of the major functions don't work (although I don't have the Kingair I have read about a number of unserviceable parts). Beautiful aesthetics though but I really am into the realism over looks.
