  1. Alky, Jd,FYI, I had the same problem after installing SP2 for Windows Vista 64 bit on my machine (I did it sometime last week through windows update). Somehow after installing that, I noticed, that on my Sound Blaster card drivers the CMSS 3d mode was re-enabled. This caused corruption of voices in rc.But after about 20 min of tinkering I reset the CMSS 3d to "off" and everything worked again. ThanksSumit Sehgal
  2. Dan,Sorry to hear that, i am wondering if changing the dynamic weather changes settings to zero in flight sim as well as in fsmeteo will make a difference. hmm, ill have to test that when i get home tonight. I had some wind differences last night when i flew from KORD to CYYZ. :( , so i have been playing around with refresh times and coverage densities to see if that will help. :( So far i have only used fsmeteo on flights in europe and it seemed to behave, lets see..... how it does for a long haul flight over the weekend :( Thanks,Sumit
  3. FYI,Smartcockpit website has updated their md-11 pages with more system and procedure manuals, looks like some of the information is similar to that of the PMDG supplied manuals, but most of them contain extra information.http://www.smartcockpit.com/plane/boeing/MD-11/Have fun and enjoy. Once again PMDG, thank you for building an awesome product!!!!and by the way, i noticed that if i use the "lights for addon aircarft" option in xgraphics to set the landing lights, they work now !!!! (i have it set for the xeon version for addon aircraft). this plane makes me learn something new everyday. Thanks,Sumit Sehgal
  4. Dan,Have you tried FSMeteo ver 8.0? I have been using it for the last week or so and i have had much better luck with the winds and temperature rendition. Sure it is not as feature rich as ActiveSkyX or ASA (i tried both of them but have fought with the same issues you mention) but its a nice clean app that gets the job done. (performance is also good even though i belive it pipes its weather through FSUIPC) I am using the registered version of fuipc to control wind/pressure/tempertature and icingThanks,Sumit Sehgal
  5. Hey Dan,Yep, i agree with you. I was just curious about those. :( Thanks,Sumit SehgalP.S: Thanks for the terminal proc's they are simply awesome!!
  6. Cool, I'll try doing them at 3500 ft AGL and see what happens. Secondly, does anyone know if the FS9 repaints for 747 work in FSX? Thanks,Sumit Sehgal
  7. Hi Jibran,Thanks, I found the key mapping, for some reason its called reset TOGA. But i tried doing circuits at 3000 ft (2800 AGL) and the callouts still did not occur after the first landing. ThanksSumit Sehgal
  8. Hi,I had two questions:1. In the FS9 version of the 747 there was a key mapping option for "soft A/T disconnect" but i cannot find it in the FSX version. Was that removed? (the only option i have to map the "disconnect A/T" which physically toggles the A/T switch on the MCP).2. I was performing some touch-n-go's on the 747 as well the 744F (both FSX version), and i noticed that after the 1st landing, the radio altimeter calls do not play on subsequent landing, is that a known issue? Thanks,Sumit Sehgal
  9. Awesome. Thanks :( Sumit Sehgal
  10. Hi Bryan,Can i use the PW variant with the fs2crew? or will it mess stuff up more than just spurious voice call for the enigne parameters. Thanks,Sumit Sehgal
  11. Hi Bryan,I have sent you the email for helping out with the testing. I did try just the voice set without overwriting the gauges and it seemed to work, but it was just a short hop from EGLL to EDDF. i have not tried any of the rvsm or the custom gauges out yet. i will try them and let you know. Thanks,Sumit Sehgal
  12. Thanks, i will try it this weekend. I was just concerned as his instructions tells us to replace some of the fs2crew .gau files and i wanted to make sure that those gauge files were still the same in FSX. Thanks again for the awesome product :( Sumit Sehgal
  13. Hello,I wanted to find out if the British voice set released by Graham Jackson for Fs2Crew in Fs9 will work for the FSX version as well? Thanks,Sumit Sehgal
