Hi there! After installing SP1 , the sound level of the call-outs in the cockpit, as well as the sound of engines dropped so dramatically, I barely can hear them. The only sound that you can hear clearly and loudly is the "sound of wind" around the cockpit. Yes, I set the correct sound levels in the airplane`s FMC/Setup/Sounds...and it does not help. Before SP1 I had clear and strong call outs and engine sounds...Any advise?Thanx, Gabor

I am fully amateur in airport desing issues...I just would like to fly to airports at night, that look natural,,, I can change the settings one by one for the airports I visit more often..So if you could help me a bit more...: what is ADE and where I can find the code you mentioned?On the other hand I wonder why you can change the runway lights`s intensity for the whole sim in fsx.cfg file, but not the taxiways at all? br Gabor

Hello, does anyone know how to resize (in my case make them smaller and dimmer) the taxiway/apron lights in fsx?I found a very useful text to use in fsx.cfg but this does not speak about taxiways. My problem is that I run fsx on 3 displays and by default all the runway and taxiway lights are too big, shining too strong..the airports look like christmas trees...not too natural. The commands below have solved the problem on the runways (I use a scale of 0,6), but the taxiways and aprons have stayed oversized and overlit. Does anybody know what is the right textmode to write into fsx.cfg file? These are the ones for resizing the runway lights,-work perfectly. Hi,I run fsx with 3 displays, otherwise without any problem, but: with 3 displays the cockpit is so big and the instruments so close, that you can not look out of the window and look at the instrument at the same time. You can zoom out in the cockpit (and by far J 41 is the best cockpit for this) but it still has its limits: if you zoom out enough to see the out of the windows, the the back of the captains seat comes in and covers the instruments !! Is there any way to solve this problem? To fly with 3 displays is just fantastic..you really feel "you are the".....but you should really see out and see the full instrument panel to be able to fly. If there is no solution for this, then I have to go back to just one display?best regards,Gabor

Hi RonI made each step: I have the latest FSUIPC 4.659, checked the modules folder for advdisp.dll (none) and run the registry repair tool. Changed for a default fsx plane and run the RC as an administrator......but nothing happens. I got the RC window, with the first waypoint and wx, and dep frequencies etc...but the keystrokes do not work.I also removed all FSX keystrokes and checked the RC keys....So what next? It does not seem good at all....br Gabor PFirst get the latest FSUIPC and makerwys.exe as in the following:------------------Get the base FSUIPC version from:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmland then interim update from the modules link on this page:http://forum.simflig...download-links/FSUIPC now self installs initially based on your registry entry for your FS path. Check that with this free utility:FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool (36KB) from http://www.flight1.c...sp?page=library------------------If you do have advdisp.dll in your modules folder rename it to advdisp.dlx to disable it. It is no longer used for RC.In order for RC to read your keystrokes the RC flight window should not have focus but FS must. If you are flying an aircraft with an FMC/CDU that lets you optionally input from the pc keyboard that option must be disabled. In the PMDG 737NG and probably 747 FMCs the clickspot is to the right of the panel over the "handle". The scratchpad should not have "keyboard" in it.Check for other add-on applications that might be stealing keystrokes. You can redefine RC keystrokes if necessary in the keyboard tab of the RC application. Depending on which application is used more, see if you can redefine keystrokes in conflicting applications if that is preferable. If response to your keystrokes is slow disable in the RC app window Display Text and Prerecorded Chatter options.

Dear Bobby....yes my plane was moving first...then I followed your advice..and one key (No2, the weather briefing) became alive!...but not the others (0 and 3 in that window)!!Then I got a Runtime error "75" RadarContact.fsuicp.rc4code message...I have FSX with Accel pack, the plane is Embraer 175 (wilco). Windows7 Enterprise 64 bit, FSUICP (non registered) is up and running as far as I understand....Thanks for you kind help !br Gabor P

Dear Sirs, I run RCv4 (just installed) with FSX, and all seems to be fine, until I try to make my first contact to RCv4 (eg: get weather, or call tower etc). Rcv4 does not react to my numeric keys at all!Any idea what can be the reason? best regardsGabor P

Thank You JD, the menu display is really there the with the right information BUT nothing happens, when I pushes the numerical keys (0,2, or 3 in this case) and try to contact tower, delivery or get the weather???Gabor P

Hi,I used to use the RCv4 in fs9 without problems..Now I installed FSX and the RCv4..but there is no MODULES in the fsx- choises (the upper line in the screen where you can choose flights, views, options etc) and therefore I can get no ADV window...Can you please help me? I am sure that there is a solution, but...I could not find it out myself..best regardsGabor P

Hi, anyone could help?The J41 works otherwise fine, except 3 issuses: 1. The Ramp Manager opens normally, but do not accept commands at all 2. The RMI stays dark and unusable 3. The Speed Charts pop up as a dark/black page and can not be used.PMDG`s support says that : either I have nor SP2 or C++ 2008 is damaged: but I have SP2 installed and also C++ 2008 updated. I have W7/64.Does somebody have any suggestion?br Gabor

Dear Bryan,thank you for your advice. It seems that the problem is somehow related to the add-on landscape(?). I tried to fly the same route with an other plane and without FS2Crew -and the FS shut down at around the same place...(once again I did not get any message from Windows or FS)Then I changed the route, took the MD11 with FS2Crew and it just went fine from the startup untill shutdown.By the way, my computer is: Windows XP 2002 with SP3, Intel, Pentium 4 CPU 3.40 Ghz, 3.46 Ghz. 2.00 GB of RAM.best regards,Gabor
