  1. Thank you very much!
  2. En route (2.5 hours from touchdown) aboard AMX1 MMMX-LEMD. Just a little warm up for tomorrow's ACA15 polar flight (CYYZ-VHHH).
  3. Just shut down the engines following OEJN - KLAX (in real time). What a haul!! Great flight, interesting weather...she performed like a champ over the 16 hour journey.
  4. Just completed VABB - WSSS.
  5. About 2:05 from landing in OMDB (departed KIAD 10.5 hours ago). Keith Jackson
  6. Certainly. It appears that my error was in using the "outdated" FSX shortcut on the desktop (or the one in the Start Menu). I had forgotten to delete and refresh those. At least I think that was the problem as everything seems to be working well at this point. Thanks for asking. Keith Jakson
  7. ***This issue has been resolved.*** Good morning, Thank you in advance for any advice/recommendations. Typically it takes a matter of a few seconds to get to the FSX opening screen after I double click the FSX shortcut. When starting FSX now, however: - The application begins to load as if it were starting after new scenery had been added (the splash screen comes up and is followed by the dialog boxes that read: loading terrain data, loading auto-generated scenery, loading air, land and sea traffic, etc.) - When the bar gets to 100% (after all the scenery files load), the splash screen disappears and the application (without the usual FSX start screen opening on the desktop) auto minimized to the task bar. When clicking the FSX application icon in the taskbar, I can hear the wind noise associated with what I believe is the default FSX kite situation file but there is nothing visible on the desktop. I have twice tried to remedy by deleting the FSX.cfg file and restarting FSX which seems to correct the issue. I change all of the settings (based on the recommendations in the PMDG 777 introduction document) and things appear to work fine. However, if I then close FSX and double click the shortcut to restart it, the odd behavior indicated above starts again. I haven't added any new applications or scenery in FSX so I don't know why the start-up situation is being "corrupted". I also tried a system restore (just in case), and I ran the Windows defrag program...no change in the behavior. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. Once again, any and all recommendations/suggestions would be appreciated. Sincere thanks, Keith Jackson
  8. Hi, I just passed TOD on the same route (EGKK -> KMCO), but on the BA T7 flight today.Completely agree with you re the turbulence out of EGKK this morning and had a lot of it over the Atlantic. Wild ride, but a great one, too. Keith Jackson
  9. Hello, Love the latest product and have been enjoying it error free on several long haul flights since release. Observed on the last two flights, however, that on short final, disconnecting the AP will cause the associated alarm to sound followed immediately by a CTD/freeze. Any assistance would be appreciated. (By the way, I performed a search on this forum for this issue, but haven't identified one. If there is a resolution, please point me to it and thanks in advance.) Thank you, Keith Jackson
  10. Hello Bryan,The fixed you suggested worked like a charm! I'm all set now. Thanks for your prompt responses to my queries. I am a VERY satisfied customer.Keith Jackson
  11. Hello,All of the switches in the 2D panel stop working immediately after I activate FS2Crew. And yes, the instructions regarding the update were clear and simple...I followed the installation protocol properly. I even restored the original panel.cfgs and went through the installation again with the same result, unfortunately.Keith Jackson
  12. Hello Bryan,Following on from this thread, I also have the problem that was mentioned earlier of the 747-8i 2D panel switches not working immediately after activating FS2Crew. I installed the update from your website 2 days ago and run the sim under Windows 7. I have no other issues. Any suggestions would be welcomed as I do enjoy your product. Thanks,Keith Jackson
