So I can assume that by purchasing an i7-2600 and not the overclocked version I will be more than happy with performance hopefully into Flight.

Will the 2600 give me any performance increase over my current Intel Quad 4 2.4 processor with 4GB ram

I ordered a new Delli7-2600 8MB Cache,3.4GHz12GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHZ-41.5 TB Performance RAID 0 (2x750GB SATA 3Gb/s 7200 RPM HDDSNVIDIA GTX 560TiSound Blaster Platinum video cardWindows 7 UltimateAm I going to have any problems ie, RAID 0?Also once I reinstall FSX; can I paste the copied FSX I currently have overwriting the new install, or will I have to reinstall all of the add ons UTX GEX Active sky, airports, 3rd party aircraft etc.

I purchased the 737 NGX yesterday through Pay Pal and have a receipt from Pay Pal that PMDG has been paid; but I have no down load link and the order does not show up on my history. I set up a ticket but have not gotten a response back. Is there anything else I need to do?

I did install Evolution v 1b. I still have a black PFD in VC. There must be a problem with the program in Evolution. If I install Airbus Series 2 ( Only ) all is well.Until there is a solution then I have to accept that I waisted $29 for the Upgrade.

I posted earlier because when I installed Evolution on top of Airbus Series 2 the PFD in VC is black. I tried adjusting the brightness as recommended, but it does not work in VC for the PFD. It works in all other screens and if I enlarge the PFD in VC. The PFD quit displaying in VC after I installed Evolution Upgrade.Has anyone else experienced this? I am stumped. I have Windows 7 64 Bit, SP1 and SP2 Acceleration. My video card is NVIDIA GTS450.If I remove Evolution and Airbus Series 2 and reinstall Airbus Series 2 only; everything works fine.

I used the aircraft CFG changes on A2A web site for the FSX PMDG 747 to allow Shock Wave lights to work.. Every thing seems ok except that there are now two sets of wing lights red and green. The extra light hovers over the one attached to the wing.Does anyone have a configuration using Shock wave that works?

Actually I did turn them on. I installed Shock Wave and issue is now resolved.

I did try that with no luck. Everything works fine with Airbus Volume 2. After Evoltution upgrade is installed the PDF in the Virtual Cockpit goes black.

I don't know if I was asleep, or just never noticed. When you look at a default aircraft in external view at night the landing lights are not illuminated.Addon aircraft no problem. They are illuminated. Is there something I have missed? The runways are lit ( though dimly).

:( I am from Chicago and have flown in and out of Midway many times. Fly Tampa if you are reading these posts all I can say is: OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Someone finally got it right!!

I had Airbus Volume two and installed the upgrade. Now the Primary Flight Display in the virtual cockpit is black.. It works in the 2D cockpit. I have FSX go to the 2D cockpit at startup as indicated. If I click the PFD in 2d to enlarge and click on the HUD; sometimes the PFD in the virtual cockpit lights up but is non functional "dead"Anyone else have this? I am disapointed. Will have to reinstall without the upgrade.
