  1. OOM after takeoff and circling KIAH to land.
  2. I bought FSX Gold as a backup (extra). Is there a problem with FSX Gold?
  3. Maybe it was colder near the lake! (lol)
  4. KMSY live during Hurricane Isaac using Active Sky 2012
  5. I have seen more and more scenery that has been released as "Photo Real". Though the ground scenery is a photo of a satelite image; it looks very blury and washed out. It almost looks like the autogen or ground textures didn't load. For me this takes away from realism. I have seen this in cockpits as well. There are quite a number of developers that create textures and scenery that model the real thing and they are very sharp crisp and clear. What is everyones opinion on this?
  6. Go to the product page under extra. http://www.wilcopub....ution-vol2.html
  7. I also have an i7 2600 with an Nvidia560ti and see the same thing in that I do not see better frame rates if the sliders are set in the middle. I also get the best frame rates and every thing is smoother if the sliders are at max. I will note that if I remove aircraft casts shadows on the ground the FPS do go up a couple. And Sesquashtoo is right about the water. If set at High 2 or max you DO see wave action.
  8. I was on final approach to Runway 22L at JFK in a PMDG 737 NG900. I landed safely and as always I replay to do a self critique. I played it back 60 seconds (normal). I then played back 100 seconds and this is what I saw. I played it back again to 100 seconds. Same thing. I took snapshots. I was in the glide slope at about 145 knots Flaps 40. Nothing was malfunctioning This was really bizarre! The last picture was snapped when I selected replay back to 60 seconds.
  9. I am using all of the UT,GEX, FS Genesis mesh releases, FS Genesis Landclass and Shade.
  10. Thanks I put it in the screenshot forum.
  11. I thought I would share this screen shot.

I have FSX with just about every addon imaginable both in scenery, airports, and aircraft. Third party developers have helped make my FSX what it is today. It runs great ( I now have Windows 7 64 bit i7 2600), looks great, and gives me a very realisitc experience. I feel that it will become even better as more is developed. Look at FSDream teams airports as an example. Now on to Flight..... All I can say even though it doesn't have AI,ATC,Flight planner, jets, the world and all of the rest of the capabilities (realworld) that FSX has; is WOW! The scenery, aircraft, and presentation to detail is fantastic!I spent hours last night exploring the islands and you would be surprised by all of the hidden waterfalls, streams and landmarks. Very well done!I also got hooked on the missions. It is not easy flying a Stearman and landing on a grass or dirt strip between trees. Strips that you don't see until last minute; and landing successfuly. This is a challenge even for the most experienced pilots. It was actually fun! Maybe Microsoft does know what they are doing.Hopefully Microsoft will expand Flight. The world created with this level of detail and the "living" capabilities of FSX would be unbelievable. You get the picture.I don't know; as well as the rest of us what will develop; but until then I will use both (FSX and Flight) side by side and enjoy every last minute of it.
  14. I can't seem to get the brakes to work using the pedals set up. Anyone else been able to get this to work?Rudder works fine.
