  1. Hi Johnman, thanks for that idea! I didn't think of deleting the mysterious Prepar3d.cfg. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem. But I found out that ASN causes the problem! As soon as I start ASN, my helicopter becomes unflyable. I'll report that in the ASN Forum. Thanks fou your help Johnman Regards, Ben
  2. Hi guys, I'm desperately trying to fix (what I think is) a FDE problem in Prepar3d V3.1. I'll just explain what happened: I've just bought the Milviz MD530F helicopter and experienced a weird behaviour regarding the yaw axis: When I apply right rudder, the helicopter turns about 20°, then stops. After a second it turns again for a few degrees and stops again. Sometimes the helicopter doesn't move around the yaw axis for a couple of seconds, just to turn for 180° in the next second... I would describe it as lagging. That makes it unflyable. I thought it was a helicopter-specific problem (same problem with the standard R22), but then I found out that the Alabeo Extra 300s - and all other aircraft - have the same problem: When I pull the nose up for about 30°, turn the Extra into the knife-edge position and let go of the controls, the nose should drop. The nose drops, but stops after a few degrees. A second later, the nose drops until it "locks" again. I guess something is blocking the aircraft from moving around freely, especially around the yaw axis. It has nothing to do with the controls. The pedals move as they should when I apply rudder, and the problem even occurs when I unplug all my controllers and fly with the keyboard. I've disabled all my addons (Accufeel for example), double checked the assignments and calibrated all my controllers. Has anyone experienced something like that or even has a solution? Thank you very much! Regards, Ben
  3. Seems to be a problem with Windows 8.1 since several members of the Coolsky forum have reported problems under win 8 even with fsx. I'll start a thread about Win 8.1 and addons in the Win 8 OS forum. Thank you very much for your help!!
  4. Getting full ownership didn't fix the problem. Any other Solutions? I would love to see my favourite plane in this awesome sim. But anyway thanks for your help
  5. Hi, has anyone had success with installing the Coolsky DC-9 in Prepar3d V2.2? I've tried it with EMT on a clean 2.2 install, but none of the gauges works. Seems like Prepar3d won't use the CSDC9.dll in the gauge folder... Any Solutions? Regards, Benny
  6. Thanks for the advice Jason!I didn't use the FO's course selector because I've turned FO's displays off to save fps (I double checked the frequencies and wondered why it's still amber)...And I don't use Vref + 5 because even with Vref I've got problems with getting this bird down. But this issue will be corrected with SP1 :) Ben
  7. That was the problem. I didn't know that the course window has to be within 90 degrees of the runway heading. That's Karlsruhe Baden-Baden (EDSB) and the runway heading is 211.After that flight I flew on radial 243 to VOR TGO next to the runway 25 (heading 253) of Stuttgart EDDS and.... it worked! But may it be a little bug that the backup instruments show the ILS correctly? Thanks a lot to all of you! Regards,Ben
  8. Here's the screenshot.Moments before the magenta diamond was still there...
  9. Wow, that was fast Ryan I'll take a screenshot as soon as possible (tomorrow after school) and upload it in this thread!
  10. Hi folks,on my last (manual) ILS approaches, I noticed that after I had captured the glideslope, the whole vertical glideslope indicator on the PFD disappeared. I continued the approach with the glideslope indicator on the backup instruments....Is this a possible bug?Had anyone this problem too? Regards,Ben
  11. I've removed both springs and replaced them with two strong rubbers. In my opinion it feels much better with the NGX Ben
  12. So... is there no way to keep the flight data during the touch and go?After my first circuit today I couldn't find the airport anymore because I was flying under IMC conditions... Benny
  13. Hey guys,I've got a strange problem witht the MD-11:All works well, but after ca. 30 minutes of flight, I can hear a sizzling noise from the speakers, a few minutes later the EICAS gets nearly black, and after again 2 minutes the PC crashes! :( Has anyone got the same problem? Or a solution?Ben
