  1. But my FPS are good enough, and switching bloom aof only because the S3m has a problem with the sun is not a good solution, maybe ******* has a plan for a wokraround
  2. Have also the GTX 460 with the newest driver 266.58.Ok maybe switching off bloom helps... but i like my bloom :(
  3. Hi all,also using the shader mod and experienced the problem that was mentioned here on page 12.Picture:(dont bother the tv-program on the right, its "fringe")Any workaround for that?
  4. And now i got my i5 :DMindfactory changed the G.Skill CL8 with the CL7 one, cause the other one was out of stock.doubled the avg
  5. Tomorrow (today ^^) my new stuff will maybe arrive so i did a test with my old system:(had a fps lag at the 2. run thats why u see min of 3 fps there but it didn't affect the avg)Next will be the new i5 :D

  8. Cool thread here. And table :DOne thing i dont get:There is one result by FunkyNasty with his i5 at default settings, so 3,3 GHz. And then we have vdubbin with his i7 who said he had a fresh system, non tweaked, so should be 3,4 GHz, but we can see 3,8 GHz what is the maximum turbo. The i5 has a maximum turbo of 3,7 GHz. So was the Turbo setting of when FunkyNasty tested the i5 on default, or is it just misreported?The there is one thing that should be removed from the table, the GPU cores. It has no impact on the endresult, it is just a fact of the hardware and cant be changed/tuned, atleast rename it to "Stream Processors" what is more exact.One last thing, im planning to by a SB CPU. After this thread im tending to buy a i5 2500k and not the i7 2600 (no k cause this one is over the budget that i planed). Why, cause i could oc the i5 2500k and i dont think that the HT of the i7 2600 is not a big impromvent depending on the extra 50€ that must pay compared to the i5. So good decision or not?PS: Before i rebuild the system, i will also report a result of my current (Q6600 @ 3 GHz, GTX 460)
  9. Hi,im living Germany and was born in the city of Erfurt. Erfurt has a nice little international airport. http://www.flughafen-erfurt.de/de/unternehmen/unternehmen_video.htmlFor the FS9 you can find a wonderfull freeware scenery here: http://www.fslive.de/projekte.html . This one is full of details and i realy would like it BUT it is for FS9 and i use FSX. Im also using Addon Converter X for some stuff that i only found in FS9 and most of the time it works but this time there are several Probs :(1. The airport hast the wrong sice, it doesnt match the satimage of VFR Germany 4 and also the overlayed apronchart doesnt match the AFD file. 2. The Taxlines are using the texture of a railline o.o3. Problems with the mesh (irregular hills where shouldn be hills)4. and maybe othe stuffFirst question is:Is the wrong position of the Apron and its Buildngs a problem of using it in FSX or did the FSlive team somthing wrong here?PIC (the chart is positioned that it matches exactly the runway):And then i want to know how to start the moding, whats the best way for making progress? What even is the right way, what do i need?Atm i only made som AFD files using ADE. All object should be ready cause the "Erfurt 2008" scenery allready has them.In advance :Thanks for your helpMax

  11. Hello,as everybody knows many aircraft textures do thisappear when you switch the FSX to Dx10. There is also a solution for this, the "Addon Converter X" solves it (does the converting on the fly while you play).But maybe i can save my money and do the converting by my self, so also the converting while play falls away.But is this possible or does "just" converting the textures not solve the problem? Because with the ImageTool.exe from the SDK i didnt saw diffrences between a .bmp that works with dx10 and one .bmp that works not. So if you have some ideas out there, please help.RegardsMax
