During the flight from EHEH to EDDW I got the message that EDDW was closed for some reason. My alternative airport should be EHGG. So I went to my FMC and via "Index/Altn dest" I filled in the new destination EHGG. Now my question is how to activate this new status in the FMC, in order the plane is flying Direct to EHGG iso EDDW?

Hi Guys, Problem soved. Although the operation centre indicates that I have installed the latest version, it seemed not to be correct. I installed SP1d over the existing SP1c. As Kyle mentioned, I had to uninstall the whole 737NGX. That did help me. Now it works perfect!! Thanks All. Jos de Hart

I did a check, a double check and a third check as Nick mentioned. Everything was okay. Flying in heavy rain (as Kyle wrote), found by ASN, but nothing seen on the radarscreen (ND), only the already mentioned rings??!! In the aft panel I see a "WXRDR" unit, but that does not work (grey). Is there perhaps something I have to adjust in the FMC? I look at it, but I can't find something like this. Jos de Hart

Hi Kyle, I did all you have mentioned above, but no weather radar is visible, when pressing the WXR knob in the Efis? Only what I see are distance rings appear in the ND. (By the way, what I meant with "Shift 5", I installed via ASN and XGauge the weather radar in the NGX. This radar can be enabled/disabled with a hot key (shift 5, via ASN). But I understand that that is not the way to make the radar visible). So, what still to do?

How does the weather radar works in combination with ASN. Is it simply install the radar in the 737NGX and press "shift 5", or is there more to say about it? Jos de Hart

Problem solved. Aerosoft has recovered my key, as was not accepted anymore.

Sorry Kyle, but I become a little bit tired. Now, the key is not accepted by the site??!! I don't know why, because I re-installed from the original DVD, after that the update 1c and all works perfect. Only getting the SP1d gives problems. I'm sure I filled in the right code (6* four capital digits including the "-" ). I'm puzzled now!!!???

Kyle, When trying to download, I get a message: "Time out..please refresh the Page..!" Waiting or repeating the procedure does not help. What to do? Jos de Hart

Hi Kyle, Thanks for your reaction. But trying to update my PMDG 737NGX 800/900, via the latest PMDG Operation centre, I get the message: "PMDG CD/DVD CUSTOMERS This update is not yet available. We are working on a solution for CD/DVD customers." That was the reason of this post, as I have a bought a DVD! Regards, Jos de Hart

Somewhere I read that it should be possible to fly an airplane together with a co-pilot on two different PC's. Do somebody know how that works and is it also possible for the PMDG 373-....NGX plane?

I was a little too fast. I installed the version 1.00.3118 and after that I installed the KLM livery. So far so good. Then I installed servicepack 1C and see the installed KLM have disappeared!! Trying to install the KLM again with Livery Manager,it says again what is described above (Texture_KL exists). When going to the directory Flight Simulator X/ SimObjects/ Airplanes, into PMDG 737-800NGX WL as you recommanded, I see two aircraft cfg's files viz. "aircraft.cfg" and "aircraf.cfg_old", so no "aircraft.cfg1"! I have renamed the "aircraft.cfg" into äircraft cfg.org and deleted the "aircraft.cfg_old". Restarted the PC. But that did not give the right results!!?? So finally I could not still implement the KLM livery.

Due to problems i had to uninstall the 737NGX. I also had installed the KLM livery. Now I re-installed the 737NGX. Till so far no problems. Then I want to re-install the KLM livery via the Livery Manager, but every time I get the message: "Texture.KL already exists!", but I don't see it in the Installed liveries folder, only the PMDG House Winglets is present. How can this be solved?

Okay, let's give some more detail.Every time I start up on the runway from spot view the plane is lined up with the runway.But looking from "forward with panel" view, I look about 45 degrees to the right..When lining up with the runway from the cockpit view, then in spot view the plan is about 45 degrees to the left.So spotview and cockpit view does not match.This happen at every airport.Shutting down with "File/Quit" does not improve.Also weather settings are as low as possible, viz. no winds, turbulences etc.So what can I do more to improve?

When starting up X-Plane 10 the airplane is almost positioned perpendicular on the runway.In my opinion it should be positioned along the axis of the runway.What is going wrong?
