  1. In windows 7 I think the profile name is 'Microsoft Flight Simulator X' or 'Microsoft FSX', Can't remember. It changed to 'Microsoft Flight Simulator 10' in windows 10.
  2. Hi. Yes, you are correct. Profile Inspector V2.12, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 10 for FSX (if using win10 I believe)
  3. Thanks' for your reply Steve, but things are ok now. Just started working all of a sudden.......... Martin.
  4. Hi all. I've recently made the switch to FSX-SE exclusively but i'm having problems enabling VC shadows. I've added the line 'ForceVCShadows=1' to the .cfg file, and 'Aircraft casts shadows on itself' is selected in the sim. No shadows. As soon as I try enabling any shadow options in the fixer, EZDOK crashes on startup. I've a hunch it maybe something to do with NVInspector settings which are unchanged from when I was running FSX Boxed. Any help much appreciated, Martin.
  5. Hi all. I'm at my wit's end here! Recently uninstalled FSX and installed FSX Steam. Trying to get Simconnect working. Have ASN on a laptop and FSXSE on my desktop. Everything worked fine in old FSX installation, but just cannot get ASN to connect to FSXSE. All appropriate folders are shared properly, tried all versions of simmconnect.msi, tried everything i can think of!!! In winsxs folder, should i just have a folder for the simconnect version I am using??? I have a folder for all 4 versions on both server and client. Been trying now for nearly 3 days, just about to give up. I attach my simconnect.xml and fsuipc.log files. I hope someone here can help me, Thanks' Martin. 6. I to had a problem with EZCA after updating to win 10. In the end I un-installed EZCA and re-installed. Be sure to exclude EZCA folder from windows defender. This did the trick for me. Hope it helps.......... Martin.
  7. OK. Uninstalled the 6/700 expansion, re-downloaded and re-installed. Exactly the same. Still no VC Shadows in the 6/700 NGX. 8/900 is fine.
  8. According to the Ops center, the expansion is up to date. But I'll try that anyway. Thanks' Tom.
  9. Still not working I'm afraid Jeff. Selected the files in the Toolbox as you explained but still no shadows in the -600 or -700. 800 and 900 models are fine though. Thanks' for your help anyway.
  10. Thanks' for your reply Jeff. As an example, in the PMDG /700WL model folder, there are 3 .MDL files. Which one do I select??? I don't want to mess anything up.
  11. Hi. Can anyone help me here? For some reason I've lost the VC Shadows in my PMDG 737-600 and -700. But for some strange reason they are still present on the -800 and -900. ForceVCShadowMap is 1 in the FSX.CFG file and HD Shadows is ticked and set for all aircraft in the Fixer. I read somewhere that I need to go into the DX10 Toolbox and set them there but i'm unsure how to do this. Steve's DX10 SceneryFixer V2.9. Thanks' Martin Stacey.
  12. Yep, IIRC I think it's a post SP1D issue, but I could be wrong. Make sure the route is complete including sids and stars and everything should be ok. Martin.
  13. Strange. Downloaded latest video drivers and voila!!!
  14. Hi. I always fly full screen mode. But suddenly FSX refuses to go into Full Screen, either by alt-tab or views-full screen. I have Maximised=1 under [MAIN] in .cfg but returns to 0 on exit. Any ideas anyone??? Martin Stacey.
