Yes I am aware of this method but would like to produce a shot like the example in this link file in the library, side shot wheels up with a nice background. I can produce the back ground but the side shot of the re-paint with Wheels up is what I am after? how is this image captured I can't believe that this shot is from FS aia_763_varig_white.zip - <LI>aia_763_varig_white-1.jpg

Big Shock have only just found out Billy was the best and made a large contribtuion to the FS Community with the very best work I have every come across I am not sure it will be the same anymore without Billy and his repaints?My thoughts are with his family and close friends at this timeKeep on flying in FS Heaven Billy RKevin McCarthy

I was woundering if anyone could point me in the right direction? I would like to add a Teaser Image to the upload package of my repaint and would like to know how to create an image like the main repainters do with an image of the aircraft with wheels up, side on view and custom background? I am sure this image is not taken from the Sim (Ctrl + Prtscn) and edited is it?I have looked about but not can see any tutorials with regards to this subject?any help would be well received

Hi to all, I am currently working on an Sri Lanka Air Force Package for ACOF and have completed this and have it up an running in FS2004, Flightplans also sorted but I have noticed that the Standard AFCAD's for the Sri Lankan Military Airports which are most of the airports on this lovely island are not well prepared for AI whilst I have done some work on the AFCADS to enable AI to land,Park and take off nicely some require a flatten switch applied to them to remove tree's etc? I used to use a program called Flattex which was easy to use I would then add the Flatten switch details to the Scenery File CFG lines. I have just changed my machine and now have win 7 ( well we won't go there in this string!!) big learning curve for an olden but there you go anyways the Flattex Program won't run on my machine now looks like it is not compatible with win 7 :-(I was wondering if anyone out there would like to add the Flatten/Exclude switches for me :( I can provide the revamped AFCAD's via e-mail with the Parking etc all done, I can then release the Airport Pack with Credits given before the SLAF Pack and all will be well in the land of Sri Lanka :-)Best RegardsKevin McCarthy - The Freightshifters 2011 :(

In the program Dxtbmp - when you use the option create alpha channel it say's that any pure green will be rendered fully transparent? I have created a pure green layer for the part I am trying to make transparent and then ccombined the two in Dxtbmp to make the texture but it did not work? should I create this layer in Black for this part and then create an alpha channel and combine my master and then then alpha to create the master texture?

I am trying to make a part on a Texture transparent so that it is not displayed in the texture file on the final model. Basically a part on the engine needs to not show as the engine type and version has changed and this part is no longer required in the repaint, would an alpha channel make it transparent or would the model need work to make this part disappear?

Does anyone have a copy of the HTAI Model Fedex Cessna Cargomaster (cargo_c208b.zip) as this is not available in the libaray yet due to the new server. Need it for AI Cheers
