  1. Hello, After many tests to understand my issue with the PMDG 737NGX, it is time to open up the topic to get your feedback. Since I have installed my rig with W7 Pro 64Bits + FSX, I have noticed that my 737-800/900 + 600/700 expansion pack adopts excessive bank angle around the LNAV path (or even on HDG Bug mode), up to 60°. It oscillates around the LNAV path. Not only it is unrealistic but it creates a dramatic effect. I didn't have this under Windows XP. My tests reveal that it happens mainly when winds are greater that (around) 35 kt. I made an attempt clearing the weather and thus the upper winds and the effect disappear. I also tried smoothing the wind transition in FSUIPC but it does change anything. Are there any specific tweaks to be adopted for the 737NGX under W7 64bits? Your feedback would be much appreciated. Rgds, -- Pascal
  2. Hello Dan,I thought that Ryan or somebody else from PMDG could have relayed the request as they are several at PMDG to watch such fora.Pascal.
  3. A bit fed up not having any feedback from PMDG people, I kept trying things and I eventually managed to find a solution.I had a strange feeling that my initial JS41 installation had messed up in the registry. I knew it could be solved in uninstalling and re-installing FSX again. However, I had too many addons installed and I didn't want to touch my stable configuration.1/ I deleted first my PMDG MD11X and JS41 (actually delete all installed PMDG aircrafts),2/ I cleaned up the registry with CCleaner to remove orphan keys and declarations,3/ I removed all keys and values related to PMDG,4/ I re-installed the PMDG JS41and everything went fine. I got my JS41 working again. I hope now it will last for a long while. With the hope that it could help people in a similar situation.Cheers,Pascal.
  4. Halo,Is there somebody at PMDG who could answer my questions?Thank you in advance.Pascal.
  5. Ryan,Any answers for my questions above? I am still without my JS41.Thank you in advance.Pascal.
  6. Hello everybody,As a recent happy owner of the MCP Combo, I would like to start using it with further aircrafts. So far I have been using it successfully with the LVLD B763 X in 2-way modes and with a mix success with the Wilco PIC737 X and with the FSX default aircraft profile. Some commands do not work with the PIC737 X as they seem to be (the SPD knob does not change the speed, the A/P and Disengage switch do not work, etc.).Having said that I plan to dig soon in the profile creation and may be to update existing profiles. 1/ Do some of you have already updated the Wilco 737 profile?2/ Is there somewhere profiles for the Digital Aviation F100, PMDG JS41, F1 ATR 72-500?Before posting, I have watched VRinsight forums and read all the posts in this forum related to VRinsight products and topics. I have noticed out the enthusiasm for those products and Andy's willingness to provide help. This is great.Thank you in advance for your feedback,Pascal.
  7. Hello Ryan,I read already that dll.xml had nothing to do with the JS41 unlike the MD11 and the B744 however, i just wanted to have a look because a screwed up dll.xml is a problem for FSX stability.Fsx.cfg was already cleaned up (Trusted section) before re-installation. Is there another section in fsx.cfg I should be careful of?The Saved Flights directory was also cleaned up from PMDG situations.I make my tests from the Free Flight feature thus creating a new start situation.I have notice that in the registry it remains some keys regarding the PMDG license declaration. Is there some additional cleaning I can perform in it?Thank you in advance,Pascal.
  8. Hello,I do have the same problem suddenly after using it for 2 weeks without problems. I can't load it up anymore into FSX. It crashes FSX with the sound of a propeller shutting down (even after re-installation)!I checked dll.xml: fine. All aircrafts declared into it load fine.I uninstalled JS41 properly (cleared cash + registry + the 2 JS41 dll in fsx.cfg) and re-installed several times. It does the same thing. The activation process never created any issues when I first installed the JS41.dll.xml is not corrupted as it loads up in IE/Firefox. My PMDG MD11X works fine with the dll.xml declarations.I run XP, FSX, JS41 box version implementing SP1 v1.10.Are there some specific keys I have to delete in the registry (like the activation key)?Please find below my dll.xml.With the hope somebody can help me.Thank you in advance.Pascal Genotal.dll.xml:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?><SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Addon Manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>bglmanx.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Object Placement Tool</Name> <Disabled>True</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\object_placement.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Traffic Toolbox</Name> <Disabled>True</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>MyTraffic\traffictoolbox.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Visual Effects Tool</Name> <Disabled>True</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Special Effects SDK\visualfxtool.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>IvAp</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files\IVAO\IvAp v2\ivap_fsx_bootstrap.dll</Path> <Commandline></Commandline> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FeelThere PIC737X Helper</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>FeelThere\B737\PIC737XH.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Level-D Simulations</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Modules\LVLD.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Options</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDGOptions.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Events</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDGEvents.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Sounds</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDGSounds.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon></SimBase.Document>
