  1. Thanks for the update - it looks stunning! :( I was wondering if one of you would be able to give me some idea of the framerates you are seeing at this stage of development on your systems? I know it may not have much relation to the framerates on the finished product, but if you could give us a rough figure at the current moment in time that would be great. And yes I have read that it runs much smoother than the 747X etc, but what I am asking is how much smoother? Thanks,
  2. Hi all,I wonder if anybody can help me out - I'm trying to use Bruce Fitzgerald's superb freeware Atlantis Space Shuttle to do a launch from one of the launch pads just off KXMR. I've read that you must use slew mode (key 9/ key 0 to rotate) to position the shuttle for launch, but every time that I try and do this I get the following problems: The shuttle will not balance when held up vertically, it falls so that the SRBs drop below the fsx ground, then the shuttle topples over and lays on it's belly When I exit slew mode, the shuttle always accelerates forwards, even if I shut the engines down before hand, meaning that even if i were to fix 1., upon exiting slew it takes off by itself! The shuttle wont stand on top of the launch pad - it just drops below the scenery object I don't know if 1. and 3. can be fixed by adding contact points into the aircraft.cfg? If so can somebody please talk me through as I'm not an expert. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. :(
  3. Hi Dan,There's also an app for LiveATC on the iTunes app store - worth a look if you have an iPhone/iPod touch! The reason it's got a low rating is people are complaining that it doesn't stream UK ATC channels - when it's actually illegal for them to do that for the UK! I'm from England myself and own the app - I have no complaints and find it just as good listening to the channles from over the pond. I would recommend it to any flight simmer - an excellent learning tool for ATC R/T! :(
  4. Aaaah! I'm going away in a week for 3 weeks - I can see this releasing whilst I'm away with no internet connection or flight sim! :( Have to cancel holiday! :( Harry Grassom
  5. Hi all,Just thought I'd provide this link to quite an extensive site which may have some use to us budding NGX customers, waiting for some 737 NG manuals...http://www.smartcockpit.com/plane/boeing/B737/Hope this helps somebody out there - although I'm sure we'll get more than our fair share of manuals from PMDG in due time!Regards, Harry GrassomP.S. Hats off to all you guys at PMDG, I can't wait for the release!!! :(
