Hi Howard,I am a Prosim user and a very happy one. Prosim737 is a standalone 737 simulation outside of FSX. It has its own 'Jetstream' flight dynamics which is specifically developed for use with the default FSX Boeing 737-800. This flight model is at least as accurate as the PMDG NGX's FDE. I originally bought the NGX to use the flight model, but since Prosim now has her own my NGX is obsolete (yes i really said this....),Prosim is suite like Project magenta or Simvionics, only a lot better : ) and aimed at cockpitbuiders. It also aims to implement as many drivers for hardware as possible by itself and therefore it is very user friendly. Check the Prosim737 forum for more info. so if you're going to build a cockpit, Prosim is the way to go. Hey Garry,I hope you know what you are getting into, as soon as you have an MCP your FS hobby can quickly develop into a serious addiction. A very expensive one too. Most important too research your purchases for at least a year and figure out your possibilities.Check out the cockpit.org site. Check out the book by Mike Powell and google his website. Check out all the vendors: Open Cockpits.com, Simworld.pl, Revolution Simproducts. Prosim737, FDS, HISPAPANELS is a good one for DIY, GLB flight products in the UK. Hi,I am having the same problem. Sometimes resetting/reloading solves it but some other times i have to restart FSX. It seems that when i have the default cessna loaded with all systems shut and no petrol, paraffine or whatever our flying friends eat and drink, and then change to the J41 there is no strange blue laser pointed at your eyes : )Hopefully it will go away. Reinstalling does not solve anything i can tell you. But i am glad i got the engines running, no fires, so far so good :(.I do get a lot of CTD's halfway through flight even with the UAautmationcore.dll installed. I'll do some more searching on 'why like this'-stuff before i submit a siupport ticket.take care,dion
