  1. I want to use AS2012 graphics with ASNext as the engine. The question is: 1, Must the graphics be installed after each re-boot of the computer? 2, Must the graphics be installed after each shut down of FSX? 3, What is the best way to confirm FSX has the AS2012 graphics installed? Thanks. Ken Packer
  2. Do to a major malware I had to reformat and reinstall Windows 7 and FSX I have FSX in it's own folder on C: I also have my PMDG 737 NGX in a zip file along with my license. What procedure do I use to install the NGX? Thank You
  3. I did the following with no results. Still the same. Installed new drivers: Audio, Video and Mother Board Removed one memory then replaced it with the other stick, then ran both in reversed sockets. Ran Windowes Memory Diagnostics twice. Stopped Overclocking, now running at 3.51 Ran Windows Defender Malicous Software Remover 3 times and each time it found TROJAN:DOS/ALURON.A and could only complete a partial removal? I also removed and reinstalled the Hard Drive and Video Card. That Malware a problem?? Should I do a complete clean/format of the hard drive? I will even but a new hard drive just to get my 737NGX back in the air. Ken
  4. What drivers would you suggest I update? Ken
  5. I am now receiving the blue BSOD everytime I load my NGX. The screen states: Page_Fault_in_Non_Page_Area All other addon AC and the MS Fight Simulator X AC load with no problems. Everything on the computer remains the same (no problems) except when I select any of my PMDG 737 NGX. I Did a System Restore but that did not make any change. I have spent hours researching this with no luck. Can any help me? See System Below. Ken Packer
  6. Yes on my system. I believe at some time in the past I assigned Media Player is my player. That I believe is when the lockup problem started. For some reason Media Player usage of memory keeps growing. It started with less than FSX which runs around 1.3-1.5 KB. As I flew MP started with 1.2KB and went up to 2.6 kb and then if would freez with a light screen but the sound would still be on. I would close FSX but did not have to reboot to fly again.
  7. After weeks of research and trying all the fix's I may of found the cause of my FSX locking up. I used Norton Internet Security to monitor my memory usage while flying and that over time I found that Windows Media Player was using more and more memory until my 4G's were full and then it would lockup. I did a search for the Media Player file wmpnetwk.exe and found out how to disable the program which I do not use on my Sim computer. I have now flown many hours without a lockup on my Windows 7 system. Ken Packer
  8. I installed my 737 NGX into the defalt installation directory. I want to correct this error and install the 737 and FSX in it's own directory. My question is can I reinstall the 737NGX using the same license? Is there a special procedure to correct this error? Also, should I install FS-9 in this new directory also?I should of read the Introduction Manual first!!! ref: 0.00.11Thanks, Ken
