Hello everyone,Yesterday I discovered were the HUD was its just above your head and pops down if you click on it. I got it own and into place but how do I turn it on... There is a knob above it that says HUD auto or manual. Mine is set to auto. Help will be greatly appreciated :DSteve Roberts

I figured out what was wrong, I was a newbie to the aircarft and the tutorial I watched didnt include about putting the dest. airport in the legs LOL everythings workin now :( Steve Roberts

Thank you Thomas, I'll check it out but I dont understand how when I insert my route, choose the departure, It just takes me away from everything...

Also I put the route in and then go to Departure to select a runway and then choose a sid, then when i activate it, a pink line appears and thats all I dunno if that pink line is just the sid itself then a waypoint is required or something but shouldnt the route go in the right direction if i put the destination airport in route? this confuses me.

no it's not like im flying around the other way, it's always just a different direction that im flying, it could be 90 degrees away from the route in FSX and I didnt put any waypoints if that matters. Hope I figure out whats going on haha :(

Hello all,yes, in the title I said I have a problem, well, its more a pilot problem then the plane. First of all I just want to say this plane is amazing and i cant keep my hands off it. My problem is though, is that when I put the REF airport into the FMC and then the dep and arr airport on the route page, it must assign a route into the database because the plane follows a pink line but the route it follows is completely off. I went to the MAP option in FSX to see if I was on course and I was flying in the oposite direction... What am I doing wrong... ThanksSteveo

Hello, fella's, today i went to fly the bieutiful J41 and as i stepped into the cockpit i was looking strait forward. I didnt hear anything but that annoying clicking noise and the batt. So I turned my head to the pedestal and i heard the engines, went back to looking forward, nothing again. I tried un installing it etc but nothing worked, im guessing its something to do with the sound.cfg?? please help... thanksSteve Roberts :)

Hello fellow forum browsers, Today I took the J41 out of my virtual hangar for a spin just in eastern Quebec... When I got my engines up and running I noticed while looking strait ahead in the VC there was no noise from the enines, I have tried increasing engine sounds under sound tab, and nothing happened... Also this happens with several other aircraft and sometimes occurs on certain outside views... Thanks,Steve Roberts

Hey guys, When i go to click a switch or something in the JS41 the switch clicks but it dosnt give that sense of realism where you hear the click...Thanks and hope you can help me out, Steve

After all the complaints and questions, i'd like to come out and thank the PMDG team for making all these bueitiful planes! Ive heard there are many more to come and would I be able to know what some of these planes are? :D I heard rumors about a dash 8 and I hope they are true is it? ThanksSteve

So that means he just added it to fsx instead of fs9? if it worked with the 737 it should work with the beech???

Hey guys, I was bored on a typical saturday and browsed pmdg's products, I have all of them except the fs9 ones... The beech 1900's are a must have addon for me and would like to know how to get them working in fsx. I do not have FS9, obviously, just FSX. Do I just buy the plane then continue with installer and instead of a directory of FS9, FSX??? Thanks, Steve

I just dont like how the sounds dont change if you apply less or more thrust other then that everythings cool.

I hear ya'll I love the sounds too, its just that the reversers are not real, you know that turboprop noise when they go into reverser mode its that shrill wooonnng noise, id just like to have that, as you guys have said, its already amazing I was just sugesting it.Steve

Hey guys, a fellow and me discussed a little bit on having a sound pack made for the J41... He sugested that we try TSS, so I contacted them and if they aprove we may have a real nice music going on herejust thought i'd let you knowOH! and I guess thety would have to contact pmdg for rights, etc so this may be a very long process I'l keep ya updated!!Steve

yesssss, very good idea, I shall do that and ask them to contact PMDG to make it an update so it can be free! as we all know the sounds now are good, but imagine how the TSS sounds would be!!!Ima get on it right awaySteve

Hey man, the best thing to do would ask PMDG to make a white paint, you know on default planes they have white paints to make repaints for them. Well ask PMDH to make a white paint, then look on youtube how to repaint a plane (the basic way) use the white paint you asked from PMDG and make it yourself,Hope you get threw!Steve

Yes, I did get a little carried away through the title, but I was having a bad day.I can live with the noise, its just that it only recently started happening to really notice it. You could hear it with engines off, but not during flight, now always, but as Bruno said this plane is amazing and it makes up for the annoying effectThanks alot for the replies,Steve
