Hi all,Has anybody had any problems with the Autopilot not seeming to work.I take off ok, set a heading and altitude, the Autopilot is on, but it doesn't seem to actually turn the aircraft or stop the climb or decent when the required altitude is reached. If i manually correct these the Autopilot disconnects, as i imagine it's supposed to. The heading and altitude lights are on,on the coaming panel too. Usually with this aircraft, which i think i great, it's me not doing something not the planes fault at all. This one has me stumped though.Thanks for any help.Dave Phillips

Hi Andrew,I've only just installed my J4100 and have just spent nearly two days trying to start the engines. Thinking my J4100 might be permanently grounded, I've just read your superb guide on how to start the engines. I have this smoke, sometimes. Can't really seem to find out why it happens - mostly when taxiing to the active at my departure airport. It usually disappears after takeoff.What is causing this?Looks like this:EDIT: And to add, it happens on the -800 version, as I happen only to fly that one! Don't know about the -400.

hi,I had a similar thing happen with PMDG 747-400. I found it happened if i didn't go into the free flight selection page, the one with the microlight default aircraft showing, then select saved flight. If i didn't load this page first, and went straight into load saved flight at the beginning, i'd have engine fires as your picture shows.Hope this helps,Regards David Phillips.

Make sure that 'Advanced animations' is on.Go to Settings-Display-general- and check the box that says 'Advanced animations', i thinks its in the area where it says 'lens glare' and 'DirectX10 preview'.I cant explain the problem of not being able to assign the keys for the doors though.Best of luck Carl

I can go through the motions of assigning the keys, but they aren't being saved when i exit out of pmdg aircraft. Also after assigning the keys, the animations for the doors don't work. Am i doing something wrong or is this a problem!
