non-english win7 - no speech recognition
tsgucci replied to fbsammy's topic in Voice Control Version
Hi!I have a new computer, now I'm running a win7 home premium system (hungarian). Than I have to use the Visulizar? It changes only the language of the speech recognition right? Nothing else rigth? Thanks! -
Hi Bryan!I've tried to reproduce it. I really can not find out the system behind. I do everything the same way at every flight. I'm now a professional :) . Yesterday I did 3 flights. Out of these 3 flights he did it twice no clue why.I have one more issue. During descend when I leave 12000 the F/O switch off the seat belt sign. I think he should turn it on.Another question. Is there a female pilot voice? To tell the truth I did not check all voice I'm so statisfied with the US one. I also did not find the wav files....

Hi Bryan! Thanks for your answers! It happens 2 times out of 5. By me at least. I've tried a lot of time but never worked. In the Microsoft Speech Recognition you have some example tutorials where you can teach your computer. Is it possible to create own lessons which are equal to the aviation phonie? I think it would help a lot for recognition. You are right :) It is a pitty. Thanks again for your answers.

Hi!First of all thanks for this great add on! I bought it 3-4 weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. It opened a completaly brand new dimension in simulation!During this 3-4 weeks I printed and read the manual, I printed the checklist and crew flow separately. I have already flew more than 30 routes. If you allow me, I have some small remarks:1. Before take off when I say 'cleared' sometimes the FO switch on the Landing lights and the strobe than he switch the tcas but than he switch again the landing and the strobe (off course than it goes off). It seems he does the process twice. The problem is that he do it only sometimes not allways. I do not know why.2. Second remark. It would be great if the 'strobe lights on' command would work. Sometimes you do not get the clearence for t/o but for line up, in that case they switch on the strobe light. Or when they cross a rwy. The voice recognition realise my words but the FO does not do anything.3. After pushback in the before taxi checklist. the last point is ground equipment. We should say 'clear' but the voice recognition allways realise it as 'cleared' so the checklist does not countinue. My recommendation to change it to cleared. it is the same meaning and match with other commands.4. TCAS. Usually during climb the crew set the tcas to 'above' and during descend 'below'. As they are changing altitude they may want to see the traffic which are above/below of them by more than 2000 feet.5. TCAS again. Usually the crew switch on the TCAS already on the ground but latest before they enter/cross the rwy. On the ground even at the gate they use TA, and at take off TA/RA. Is it possible to adopt this? These are only minor issues which would do the add-on even more fantastic!i.e. : DA Fokker voice commander would be appreciated very very much :D
