Ortho4XP for FSX/P3D
757FO I think you have to ensure that the zoomlevel on the program's main page needs to be the same as the Masks_zl on the settings page. So change the zoom level to what you want on the main program page (e.g. 16) then open the settings by clicking on the icon and in the Masks settings change masks-zl to 16 as well.

In Australia we have a paint manufacturer who prints in the paint can lid: "When all else fails - Read the instructions". Should have RTFM Thank you kjjj Aussibob

Ortho4XP for FSX/P3D
Another day and still no solution found. Deleted installation. Re-downloaded from GIT using the OP link. Reinstalled. Confirmed that Python 3.5 installed and working. Ditto for PIP. Made sure that GDAL, Numpy, Pillow, pyproj, Rtree and Shapely had been installed through PIP. Made sure that sharing and permissions would not interfere with any writes. Turned off Firewall and Antivirus. After all this ( and following the video tutorial steps) the program runs and seems to function properly right up until I hit the Batch Build button - At this point the program windows just sit there looking back at me as if to say, " We have you beaten" !!!.No error messages. Has anyone got any suggestions? Aussibob

Ortho4XP for FSX/P3D
AK ..... When I last ran the program and went through the Assemble Vector Data - Triangulate 3D Mesh - Draw Water Masks - Build Imagery/DSF one step at a time I ended up with what I think was scenery for X-plane (See my looonnng post above). I never tried "All in One" To develop the scenery for P3D (as shown in the video tutorial) we have to Batch Build by clicking on the Globe Icon - selecting the area we want to create scenery for - Then, in the left panel select Assemble... - select Triangulate ... - select Draw water .... - select Build Imagery ...... - select Build for ESP ..... Then click on the Batch Build button. In the video the program works then its magic BUT I cannot get the Batch Build button to work. For kjjj : I have redownloaded the prog form GIT but the issue persists. Could there be an error in the most recent /src/04_GUI_Utils.py (This coming from someone who has absolutely no competency in Python!!!!!!!)

Ortho4XP for FSX/P3D
Thank you for an excellent video tutorial - clearly shows the steps. Feeling rather embarrassed that I could not see the "Build for ESP" before!!! All I have to do now is figure out why the "Batch Build" will not work as shown in the video. Followed all the steps shown in tutorial - click on Batch Build" and nothing happens. As a test I used the "Assemble Vector Data' in the Ortho4XP_v130 panel and the program worked fine - it's just getting the damned "Batch Build" button to work.

Ortho4XP for FSX/P3D
Hi kjjj This program has the potential to be a real game changer for P3D but I am having problems getting it to work right. 1) Python3.5 and all required packages are installed correctly 2) resample.exe is in place 3) ortho4xp.cfg modifiedas instructed to locate resample.exe 4) latest version of your program in use and ortho4xp_v130.exe from the dist folder runs without errors and outputs "stuff" (see d) and e) below). BUT a) there is no sign of "Build for ESP" an a check box b) BGLs are not created/output to the orthophotos folder c) there is no sign of an ADDON_SCENERY folder d) the orthophotos folder contains downloaded orthoimagery JPGs e) the tiles folder contains (for area +49-001: earth nav data folder terrain folder containing .TER files textures folder containing DDS and PNG files ortho4xp_+49-001.cfg Data+49-001.mesh Data+49-001.poly Data+49-001.node Data+49-001.alt Data+49-001.apt What have I done wrong??? Delete Non-Existant Islands From ORBX AU Scenery
ORBX AU Blue scenery shows 3 islands to the west of French Island in Westernport Bay (Victoria). These 3 islands do not exist in the real world. How would one go about preventing these islands from appearing? I have no experience at all in scenery design and my 70 year old brain might not cope with anything real complex but I'd be willing to give it a go if someone could point me in the right direction Bob
