Hi, Being new in the XP sim,I would like to ask for advise: My XP and FSX are installed on a SSD (250 GB), I have lot of scenery installed in " Custom Scenery" among others, the simheaven "Photo Sceneries ZL17".I found it very usefull for VFR flights, especially when I can overfly my own house ! (OK, suppose to be!). Now, after installing only 3 areas, my "zz_hd_global_scenery2" contain already 23 GB files and will growing!.I have a empty internal hd, I trayed to transfer the "zz_. . . " file on my internal hd, but failed to create a link between "Custom Sceneries" and the new place! How to proceed?? Thanks in advance for any kind of help. Andre

Hi everybody, being very new in the XP simulation I have run in to few problems, for which I didn't found any answers Why, during the opening screen I am getting a message that XP crashed last time and which rendering options should be loaded? How to get rid off ?(by the way, once the xp is loaded it occupied only half of my screen!) Why, after opening the situation with a plane, a small wwindow appear "wrong IP adress xxx.xxx.xx.x no NIC with adress found". How to get rid off? Why, I am unable to save any sitation, I am trying to save a plane position in front of a gate at airport in cold&dark conditions, to be ready for the next flight. Thx for any help Sorry to be long, but after dropping the MSFS I would like to stick to this simulator. Andre

Thank You gentelmens for your answers/comments. I think I will try the Mr. Austin product especially after STARFLIGHT answer. The main reason is, I am fed-up with this MSFS OOM's and BSOD which happend all the time due to all this add-ons. Don't disappoint me, telling that in X Plane you have similar problems !!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that my rig will support a flawless use of the sim. HI, After 15 years flying with FS 9/10 I am ready to try something else (better?), namely X-Plane10. My question is (and the purchase depends on the answer): is it possible to set up yoke, throttle quadrant, and pedals, save the setting, switch to Saitek x52 joystick and hotas set up and save again and applied one of the saved setting in function of the aircraft to be flown. I did not found any explanation neither in the manual nor in the demo version. Thanks in advance for any guide lines or indication of where I can find the answer. Andre.

I dont know how to check this, but I just realized that I have a general problem with my FSX(also fresh installed!), non of the variouses, natives liverys are available on the FSX selection screen. Thanks for any imput. Andre.

Hi, after successfully re-installation of the 737 NGX + SP1c, I am anable to install the liverys. The Livery Manager show the livery installed ,the texture file is well inside the PMDG livery folder, but when open REGEDT/Pmdg/protected textures nothing is appearing on the right side and nothing in the FSX livery selections! Any idea, or existing topic? Andre

Hi,Landing, recently, in my splendid NGX on a splendid MegaAirport, being a 100ft above the runway, suddenly my fps dropped from 30 to 11 and after a few seconds the FSX freezed, so after a quick Ctrl-Alt-Del I joint my familie for diner -diner was good but my morale very bad!My question is : what kind of equipement, poeple like PMDG, Nemeth Designs or others MegaAirports "builders" have in mind writing theire programmes?Hell, I have the quickest rig, which one, having also to feed a familie, can get on the market, having don all the tricks in Cfg file and in spite of this, I have to move the sliders to the left (at least flying the NGX) to not to suffer a slide-show!What is the purpose of having each and every bolt, nuts in the cockpit, each and every window on the airport building or a splendid oily stain on the runway, if nothing can be seen, because you have to reduced the details level, to be able to fly?I really like the PMDG products,but it is boring to fear that every moment I can loose my fps because a bird is flying nearby!Andre

Hi everybody and Happy New Year,My yesterday flight ended in a disaster!I flown from KDEN to KLGA and elected to fly at FL410 (as recommanded by FMC), looking in the planed flight I realized that the T/D is too close to the arrival to allow a safe landing (MILTON FOUR ARRIVAL), but thinking that the FMC know his business I let him fly the route! Few miles after the T/D the same FMC started to yell at me that the descent path in inachievable,-diconected the AP, tried to bring down the bird manually, overstressed the frame and . . . ups! finished, having few lines in the local breaking news.I am able to calculate the T/D all by my self, but I have a very expensive computer ( with a plane attached to it) to do this calculation, so my question is where do I faulted or what is the right procedure?Thanks in advance for any light!AndrePS: before the SP1b, when started with D&C panel, the FMC allowed to load the pax and fuel, now you need to connect the batterie to do the same, it is more realistic but it is so ?!
