Hi,Landing, recently, in my splendid NGX on a splendid MegaAirport, being a 100ft above the runway, suddenly my fps dropped from 30 to 11 and after a few seconds the FSX freezed, so after a quick Ctrl-Alt-Del I joint my familie for diner -diner was good but my morale very bad!My question is : what kind of equipement, poeple like PMDG, Nemeth Designs or others MegaAirports "builders" have in mind writing theire programmes?Hell, I have the quickest rig, which one, having also to feed a familie, can get on the market, having don all the tricks in Cfg file and in spite of this, I have to move the sliders to the left (at least flying the NGX) to not to suffer a slide-show!What is the purpose of having each and every bolt, nuts in the cockpit, each and every window on the airport building or a splendid oily stain on the runway, if nothing can be seen, because you have to reduced the details level, to be able to fly?I really like the PMDG products,but it is boring to fear that every moment I can loose my fps because a bird is flying nearby!Andre

HiYou say that you have "don all the tricks in Cfg file", well that might be just the problem. The "gurus" say that the best tweak is to NOT tweak. Yes I know that some minor tweaks can be positive but IMHO I get the feeling that people tend to tweak their .cfg to "death" and getting negative results and at that point it's easy to blame the add-on developers.I was a fanatic tweaker when I started with simming but now I have a minimum of tweaks with acceptable fps, Seen this? Depends on what u determine a quick rig since you havnt told us what u have got, u want people to guess what you have and give you wrong information than you be complaining about the information given.

Sorry Jack, I got overexited, You right, I vent like You through the tweaking and now the only keped are those recommended by PMDG.My PC: i5-2500k oc-ed to 4.2Mghz, 8Gb ram, Gtx460,P8P67LE MB, win7 64b,23" monitor-1920x1080 resolution.

It is really frustrating at times. FSX works great for me for a while, then without reason turns in to a stuttering mess until i get the motivation to find out whats wrong with it again. It would be nice just to load FSX and fly without the 30 minute faff that goes with it.A Blake
