  1. I haven't to be honest bought the new simulator yet, but I see several post's saying they experience better flow, higher FPS by sliding your RENDER scale down. Well this comes at a visual price, but going careful down and and try finding that "perfect spot" where sharpness and flow are at their best ratio, might perhaps be worth a try?
  2. Very nice video to watch in full HD with the main focus in the cockpit (where it should be my upinion) 🙂 Just an observation (maybe completely wrong), but maybe the performance calculation on the T/O was a little bit on the risky side? V1 reached and with the speed you had then and not very much runway remaining, an evnentual stop without overrunning saw by the look of it a little difficult should it have been necessary 😅
  3. Might very well be so Chris and I was a bit too eager to be the fastest one on the trigger on this one But rennman specifying the one PFD affected as the left one, I assumed it being the most frequent (left) PFD-question in the PMGD forums the last few days
  4. The second question I can at least answer. As written in the update log and by mr. Randazzo concering the latest update, the left PFD is now an option you have to turn on by using the CDU as CTD has been shown to happen to a few percentage of users after some hours of flying the 737 NGX.
  5. Then, I guess there is no one on the face of this planet than can Butleger. We just have to be patient and be glad for the work being done making to the small ones' as stable and good as possible before they are released for flight in the v4
  6. At Angle of Attack Training Center you'll in my upinion find the most extensive training/learning video's for learning the PMDG 737NGX that still exists with in total 3-digit of recorded hours covering all from the basics to flights into the most challenging airports in the world and situations close to every accountable failures that could appear in all phases of flight (with the proper use of both QRH and if the failure first requiring it, the use of drills by memory). I learned a lot from subscribing to the close to 60 different videos in particular the Line Training section, and remember well real 737NG Captain Jason Sokoloff flew/demostrated several checkrides as that training progressed. I don't directly want to broadly advertise for something that's not directly PMDG in here, but this is at least my experience and a recomendation for you to check out if you would like to find out how checkrides are flown in the real skies. And as for PMDG in this respect, it is also a wonderful demostration of how deeply, accurate and through this wonderful aircraft is simulated by them!
  7. I bought the Alabeo DA42 yesterday, primarely to use it with the G1000 as a instrument trainer. First litt bug I notet as quite opposite of the real aircraft, the parking brake function is reversed. Then I found the whole aircraft at times really difficult to fly and control actually. I know one have to work rather hard with the rudders in real with this byrd, but with calibrated joystick right set up, I several times during stabilized coordinated turns, expreinced the plane actually making uncontrolled severeal yaws (as suddenly spikes) out to either side (with wind or not). But the far more serious issue for training instrumentflying on th G1000, is the very inaccurate representation of correct attitude on the PFD. Having reached cruise and level flight 70% power setting, the AI had to be flown 5o to even stay level! For making the things only to get worse, the std.by Artificial Horizon was as the time straight and level showing 10o pitch up! This strong inaccuricy is unfortunately useless for practic flying and training. And I don't sertainly now want to start learning new and wrong atiititudes to fly just to get what should be the real, Trying flying straight and level by the PFT of course ended med up the Diamond being i a climb. I am dissapointed to be honest and knowing Carenado and Alabeo as customer for many years, this bird seems to me as a real good step backwards in what realism in imporante areas is concerned.
  8. A couple of other simple tricks aginst stutters (although more constant and frequent-) I have read and perhaps worth trying, is turning FSUIPC's auto logging off and enabling Windows Aero-theme. The last one seemed intuitive a little strange to me, as I had disabled it with both FSX and v2.5 and actuelly noticed some better performance and smoother simulation. But having enabled Aero now with v3, I actuelly noticed a smoother flow (not increase in fps), particular looking out of the windows down towards the ground flowing by.
  9. ORBX have already released new v3-installers for FTX Global and OpenLC EU two days ago Jerry  A new ORBXlibs (unchanged in content) with a v3-installer was ready yesterday. So no reason not to enjoy (some) of the goodies from ORBX already in v3
  10. After unzipping all 4 folders, I had serious trouble trying to install FTX Open_LC EU from the 4th folder (where the install file is). During the install, all stopped up when asking to "insert disk 2" or manually point to a file causing the halt. But it all went smooth and without problem when I first manually moved all 19 files to the same folder as the installer, and then ran it from there. This as a HU if other should run into the same problem  Then manually installed the ORBXlibs released today with the new v3-installer with no problems. FTX Central 2 now recognize all newly installed ORBX stuff for v3, and no more keeps messing about the latest ORBXlibs not being installed
