  1. Thank you for all the info on MFS 2020. I would love to upgrade from FSX, however, due to finanacial hardships of Covid-19, money is extremely tight for my family right now and $100 is a big deal. I'm in the U.S. and have been looking for the best purchase option and place to buy MFS 2020. It seems that some outlets (ie: amazon) the downloads are not working, and/or not providing support. It's been a few years since I've bought anything for my old FSX set up. I just wanted to get the communities opinion on a safe and effective place to purchase and download MFS 2020? If I can scrape the money together to buy a copy, I sure don't want any issues with downloads not working and such. Thank you very much in advance!
  2. I got my Private, Commercial and Instrument rating long before I got into Flight Sim. I already knew how to fly VFR and IFR, but I didn't know all the little tricks, settings and crap for FSX and computers in general. I have found you can Flight Sim in a real world procedural way, or you can more or less Flight Sim as a game. I have taught people to fly in FSX, with no flight or flight sim experience and always started them on the basics, just as a Flight Instructor would in real life. Then continue the lessons (both flt sim and ground school), such that they can fly Solo and operate the aircraft to the numbers, handle emergencies, airspace, ATC, weather and airport operations, just as in real life.
  3. Great idea! It does get frustrating searching for sceneries and airports, either payware or freeware. It seemed though your map for payware, and your map for freeware is the same. Nether the less, very useful tool! Thanks!
  4. Agree with above especially OV-10 and C-337! I'm a real life fixed wing pilot, but taught myself to fly rotary wing FSX default R-22 and Bell-206 helicopters which was a challenge. But at the end of the day, they really provided the low/medium speed, altitude and hovering positions I was looking for in my best detailed scenery packages. IMO!
