ok so this is what's going on, I reformatted my pc. Before doing so I backed up all my A\C and gauges effects ect. but now I can't get a bunch of them to show up. I put them in using FSPanel Studio for FSX they go in everything looks good and then i load up the game and they don't show in the aircraft. I checked the file properties and they are not blocked or nuthin so I'm at a loss. Anyone help?

yeah but that would require that the carrier be static wheras ours is always moving....thanks for the advice tho

Is it possible to add a dme freq to an aircraft powered by someone else.....to be more specific my group uses a carrier and we fly aircraft around the ship at 150 nm away in a circle for patrols the 150nm is hard to do as you can't really know if your 150nm for sure So i kinda wanted to put in like a guage or something to add a dme

I figured it out on my own when i went to open it it sayd this End tag 'Gauge' does not match the start tag 'Mouse'. Error so i looked and the second mouse command thingy was missing the "/" and now it works YAY thank you so much

I did but it failed :( it just shows a black rectangle box now :( but maybe i can put it in another radio

Should I make a whole new XML? or add it to my current radio.xml? I'm sorry im a complete newb when it comes to opening up and modifying guages

To be completely honest i have been part of a few and im not ashamed to say it but their level of commitment and detail to what they enjoy doing completely stumps my ability but thank you anyway all of you for your replies if anyone thinks of anything else please reply with it...im pretty sure fsx get has to be running on the server end and there needs to be an embedded google earth programmed to connect to the server ip and port for the server/fsx get im just lost on the website part of it...networking and software im great at webpages im about as knowledgeable as a three y/o with his first pc lol.

ok i found an example and i know it has something to do with google earth and the server does anyone know how this works or how to get it on a webpage and such?

Does anyone know of a tracker for fsx servers i saw one once that showed who was in the server and where with a map

can anyone please help me...i use a mouse and its very hard not having a throttle on a joystick or something when it comes to jets and the turbine spin down spin up time...can anyone tell me what part of the cfg to change to make it instant?

ok yes i googled and yes i searched the forum (however its hard when 53,000 entries for lights come up)...I have been trying to get my 2d cockpit from green at night to red. I did manage to do it to my VC but i cant find where the green light is coming from

1 planes adf in cfg said 1,1 after looking at the b737 which is only has =1 instead of =1,1 this fixed it but thank you so much if not for your radio code thing you put i never would have noticed :D

Omg so this is killing me, I've stuck everything from the king air bendix to the 747 generic adf and the numbers just will not move off like 284.0 does anyone know why an adf might be stuck? and yes there are +/- buttons and I've turned all avionics on .

yeah i once i found the utilities it was easy and ya i figured i wouldn't be able to do anything with an mdl thank you tho for the very helpfull and polite post, something rarely seen on forums.
