I'm just going to buy it. $40usd is cheap even for a couple of FPS and it will surely milk more than that out of my core2 quad 3.0ghz. Besides, I like the idea of supporting these guys that have spent tireless hours coming up with very very specialized, complex software to help our sims improve. If a few people want a 50fps increase for the price, then they need to reassess and then come up with a grand for a whole new system. I can assure you that 98% of sim users tweak their cfg's but actually don't have a any idea about writing actual API code to do this kind of thing. The amount of research just to begin such a project then experiment/debug/release/support is huge to put it mildly. I don't mean to be offensive to that 98% of my fellow simmers, I am just stating the reality of it. Sorry, I just always like to defend developers- except those who gladly accept paypal then decide to disappear or delay once the normal questions and support start coming on in. I have some other prods from fsps and they have great support - like giving us a 60 min demo now.

I have same problem after hotfix. I have been starting free flt with saved flight that loads the ifly 737/airport/wx etc, and then changing to the PMDG NGX with the "select aircraft" option. Loading another jet this way works quickly and you don't have to unplug hardware-- I guess we are stuck until the real problem is actually figured out and solved. I'm going to look at the other options like repair .net or vb platforms, whatever those things in the other post were as well... dave

Excellent. I thought my version of the initial download included the most recent hotfix. There really isn't a nice bulleted release / version log for the NGX H-fixes/SPs out there so you have to dig it out and I didn't dig deep enough so thank you. I'm d/l'ing it as we speak. It will certainly fix it if the Lvar values pop through.thanks,dave

I have set up the latest 0.16B LUA and have MCP PRO switches and knobs working. The courses and heading displays work but the spd, alt and most button lighting do not. I placed ipc.displays into the LUA to look at some of the LVAR values and the problem is that they are not coming back with values to display. It looks like crs/hdg comes directly from hex offset reads and not Lvars so they are picking up actual numbers and working. Any ideas from anyone why my Lvars are returning zippo? I have latest versions of everything including FSUIPC, GoFlight bridge and the latest available PMDG version of the NGX as I understand anyway (v1.00.2922). I am stumped on "crowbarring" the Lvar values out of the jet.thanks, dave austerman
