So what happens when you fly to the border? Do you then hit an invisible brick wall? -
Finding others to fly with

Might as well add me too: Robdotcom71 :Peace: -
While flying around Niihau I spotted another small island in the distance to the south west. Has anyone else spotted it? It does not appear on the map either...Took some screenshots of this bit of rock.... Has anyone else spotted any others?http://imgur.com/a/UkAKt

Thanks for that... :Nerd:

I managed to get it by diving very steeply and pulling up just at the right time.... took me a few white knuckle tries to get it but finally got it....

Future DLC Wish List and What I'd Pay
Robdotcom71 replied to Dogstar23's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
Orbiter is a fantastic program..... the learning curve is very very steep... it IS practically rocket science..... but damn fun!! Nothing like zipping around the Solar System in a DGIV or the Millenium Falcon... :D -
One does not simply get fickle with Skyrim.... not unless you got an arrow to the knee.... ;)

Australia DLC hint perhaps in paintschemes
Robdotcom71 replied to ckukmale's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
Australian DLC would be fantastic! I just hope that the city scenery is improved, especially my home town of Adelaide! While it's fantastic that FSX had Adelaide, Parafield and the Edinburgh Military Base, it just didn't have that Adelaide feel to it. On the main approach that flies past the city there should be buildings and stuff there : and in FSX there really isn't much... even ORBX was a slight disappointment.... -
MS Flight vs FSX: it's simple, really
Robdotcom71 replied to a topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
Yeah it's quite a driving sim which I really suck at sim racing too and probably could only manage to win a wooden spoon....Quite fun having a blast around a track and seeing how bad my laptimes are and how many times I can crash...I've tried those other ones you mentioned and pretty much suck at those too... but hey... it's fun! There's 2 games that I found to be quite better at: Gran Tourismo 5 and Shift 2....I'd much rather be flying though..... I can fly from a to b, but don't expect me to win a race! -
Level 20 or 500 000 XP points, Reached it yet?
Robdotcom71 replied to ckukmale's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
I am level 20... but sadly that is level 20 in frustration with my father....He says it's rubbish, it's boring, etc, etc, etc but the funny thing is he can't even finish the first 2 levels, oh and he doesn't like the free island and the 2 planes that came with it.I try to tell him what is the point of having a fast jet if you can't even fly something properly that goes at 100 kts?He can go back to enjoying his stupid Trainz and I shall enjoy FLIGHT..... :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: -

Since you're into racing, have you given rFactor a shot? There's some great mods such as cars and tracks to have a spin in.... -
One annoying thing I have noticed when flying missions, etc, etc is the inability to bring up the map which is a bit of an annoyance. For the landing strip that do have some sort of radio frequency, I'd actually like to know what it is or have the radio tuned before I take off...
