  1. The voice version sounds interesting. Does that allow you to stick a microphone on your head and rattle off commands such as "gear down", "flaps 20", etc and the gear will come down and the flaps will go to 20 degrees? Can you command your co-pilot to "start engine one"?
I have the 747-400 version which is good and yes you can do both those things. Other things like command the push-back by voice, perform checklists. Turns lights on and off and other stuff. My only gripe isn't that the copilot won't do the co-pilot preflight flow and he leaves the packs off after takeoff. But I highly recommend it even so.

  2. On the ground at ybbn was my benchmark, just after rolling off. I don't know why but YMML results on the same settings are a lot lower more like 10 fps. Once I finished taxi, I don't bother looking at the FPS because it doesn't really matter.

  3. Very similar to my machine that I just built myself for around A$1200. I have a different cooler though (Zalman cnps 990x). The I5-2500k is a very nice processor and very overlockable as many will attest to on this forum. Its very easy too.with my I5-2500k over-clocked to 4.6ghz I get 20-30fps around the resource hungry orbx scenery which is pretty good. My old AMD 4600 manged 5.5 at the same settings.

  4. Like the others have said make sure that you have a 'k' preprocessor.Over-clocking with SB processors has never been easier, provided that you get the K.Unless you really want to be limited in your OC you definitely need a good CPU cooler. Also you may consider getting the i5-2500k if you can't afford the extra dough for the k version of the 2600. Once overclocked there isn't much difference between. Also make sure that your CPU has the ability to manual adjust vcore or cpu voltage. I got stung by this, luckily I was able to return mine.CheersCameron Stewart - Baker
