  1. Quick work around that I use when the clouds start moving fast... On the Menu Bar click Help > About Lockheed Martin Prepar3d. When it shows the that box i click the X and it stops the clouds moving fast without the risk of crashing the sim.
  2. Hello, I found the problem: I had an entry in Registry Edit to trick programs only compatible with P3D v4 to be redirected to my v5 folder. This was in-turn tricking the FS Reborn program into thinking I had v4 installed and therefore the error occurred. Once I changed the Reg Key from Prepar3d v4 to anything else (Prepar3d_v4) it no longer thinks i have v4 installed and then functions as It should.
  3. I have just bought this product today and installed it on my system, when I go to open it I am presented with this initial error: I click continue and soon after I am given a new error: I'm running P3D v5 and the install path in Reg Edit is fine. Another program for P3d that I need to troubleshoot before i can even use it. Ryan
  4. Managed to stumble across the correct thread as soon as I'd clicked off creating this one. Turns out that the problem is caused by selecting a PMDG 777 plane in one livery (in the FSX menu), then going in and selecting another livery. Reselect a default aircraft then reload the PMDG 777 in the livery you need. Save flight and panel state if mid flight (like i was).
  5. After disconnecting all ground connections and pushing back, I proceeded to startup engines. Then the wheel chocks and this APU or whatever it is shows up and comes along on the flight with me. The wheel chocks stayed with me until gear up. Hope anyone can shine a light on what could be the problem here. Thanks R
  6. It looks good, the water and scenery textures are very nice. The clouds are a bit bleak (to fs9,fsx standards), looks like we will be looking for REX to come in and sort those out some months after this platform gets released. The biggest thing that sticks in my mind is performance, are we looking at videos and images that our PC's will struggle to produce at good frames? I've got a core i7 you see and it still struggles with FSX. Maybe i need to look for a post that discusses the possibility og MS Flight to use multiple cores.
  7. A PMDG everything would be neat! lol
