I would just be happy achieving a steady 30 fps doing everything. Be it VC whislt taxiing or flying through clouds or whatever. But it looks like I need to spend around 2k on a new machine and still make the tweaks lol!

I'm loving it too but I just don't understand why I'm getting the 10/15fps slap in the face its driving me towards wiping out my bank account on a new system lol If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do please comment you're very lucky! Could you share your specs?

Over the last 12 months I have spent time effort and money upgrading my aircraft, scenery and equipment to enhance my flight simulator experience. I'm still not receiving good fps all the time and really it's frustrating. I'm hoping if I post my info then people will be able to offer advice and info on how I can improve my fps if its possible. Here's the specs: HARDWARE i5 3.3 overclocked to 4.4 Twin frozr GeForce 570 2gb 8gb ram 1tb SATA drive with a seperate partition for FSX FSX fsx delux and acceleration ******* 'Bojote' Altuve CFG tweaking tool Uiautomation.dll Bufferpools tweak set to 40000000 Fsx fps set to unlimited and 3rd party fps limiter in place (40fps) Run from batch file a friend set up for me Running ORBX England Running UK2000 scenery across all areas + bristol xtreme and Manchester xtreme Running Rex weather Running ultimate traffic 2 Using PMDG 737ngx That's my full set up. My fps is great in all UK2K airports except the Xtreme or any London area when flying pmdg when they drop to 10/15fps. Also at airports such as Amsterdam schiphol where I'm running 0 scenery add-ons the frames drop right down. If anyone can suggest helping me improve to just a steady 25+ at the airports would be great. I would love to enhance my experience without the extra cash but maybe it just isn't achievable and ill have to buy a new system?

Hi all, I'm looking at matrix tripple head to go and wanted some feedback from current users of the DVI model. I've always wanted to run tripple monitor but when I plugged a 2nd monitor into the spare DVI port my frames dropped to 10 from 40!!! I was told that THTG was the answer to my problems but at £250 I'm not willing to buy and take a gamble without some valued feedback from others. Input greatly appreciated thanks

Hi, Firstly I hope I'm posting in the correct forum. I'm going to be formatting my pc in the next few days and I wondered what everyone's opinions were on the above. I have a 1TB HDD (not SSD) I5 4.6 (overclocked) 8gb of ram If its a performance aid or beneficial in anyway to do so or best to stay all as one? Thanks mark

Hi I've only been using PMDG for around 3 months now and on saturday all of a sudden when i pan in external view only my camera seems to 'jump/skip' every other view is fine. I havent done anything like installed any other add-ons etc or defragged. It just started happening randomly! Any ideas? Thanks

I'll give that a try, will be a shame if that's the fix as I hate zooming out anywhere except vc as it makes things look out of proportion. Thanks for your help Yeah I've checked all of these thanks I'm not actually running orbx though its GEN X I'm using. This problem never happened until the cfg was tweaked, just thought id mention

Kaboki im running FPS limiter and fsx FPS set to unlimited The FPS limiter program holds them at 30 ryanbatcund thanks for the advice i will try this aswell

Hi All, I hope im posting this in the correct area. I recently used ******* 'Bojote' Altuve fsx.cfg tweaker after a freind told me about it and i must say its done wonders for my FPS and i can run my system on such higher settings now with better frames. There is 1 problem im having though... my ground textures are only loading in a low level sort of way. everything is blurry. Can anyone help me with a fix for this? I dont want to ditch the new CFG file really but i do want this problem to get sorted so if anyone has any advice or help that would be great!! Please see attached pic for an example of what i mean

I have it locked to 20 as this is what i like. i can get it up to 50fps if i chnge the target but it feels like its in fast forward to me lol! Thanks for all the input guys!

Hi All, Im using the ultimate traffic 2 addon - FANTASTIC! Inly problem is that my frames are being hit drastically! When im at a busy airport i can drop down to 8fps. The minute i stop UT2 from the menu bar they jump back up to solid 20fps... Does anyone know if the detail of the AI aircraft can be lowered as i think this is whats causeing the problem... UT2 AI looks amazing but its just a bit to much with all my other add-ons for scenery that im running too. Any help would be great Thanks
