  1. I ran on a Dual Core AMD at 2.0GHZ at one time and get barely 10fps. I upgraded the GC and suddenly got 40 even in PMDG aircraft. Granted I run on a Arrandale i7 at 2.6GHz now I personally believe it is the GC and RAM. Tis each is own, but I will take your word for it. But the 32 vs 64-bit will make a difference and I'm going to guess he has a ton of crap on his computer as well/things open that eat up RAM and other memory.
  2. Look, just because you cannot run an aircraft PERFECTLY doesn't mean you need to bash PMDG over it. If you took the time to read the minimum specs on the product page, you may have been able find out before giving PMDG your $70 for a wonderful airplane that they worked hard on. And if you knew a thing or two about computers, it really isn't your processor that counts...it is your graphics card and your amount of RAM and the difference between x86 and x64. It really aggravates me when a perfectly good product is made and people just have no amount of common decency or respect for the work put into it. If you don't like it, go make your own 737. Period. -Joseph
  3. Dude give PMDG a break, they dealt with us bothering them about the NGX for 3 years and I personally think the last thing they want is them nagging about them working on another plane about 2-3 days after releasing one. When they want to talk about the 777, they will.
  4. I don't freeze on FSInn at all whatsoever so there may be something to this here. Lots of trial and error, we'll get there. Thanks for your input though Collin! -Joseph
  5. Yeah, I just hate reading the manual I just wanna fly this plane since I've waited 3 years. But you are right, I hate having to bother you all over simple things that could be fixed by reading! Thanks again, and it is a neat system!
  6. Oh wow, that is very different. Thank you.
  7. Hello, I noticed that I cannot set my fuel levels in the aircraft. I go to the fuel/payload before I start the flight and set my desired levels, but then it just resets to 100% when I click ok and go back into game. Any idea why this is?
  8. Ah, I see. How would I go about doing that, I have never done that before.
  9. Alright, I will. The only problem with that is that I am flying on VATSIM where I need/should have real world weather on and turbulence. I'd prefer to be able to fly with it on like any other addon. Any other suggestions?
  10. Hello, I would like to start off by thanking PMDG and the beta testers who put the hard work into this airplane, it is absolutely beautiful and it is by far the best $70 I have spent in a while and I look forward to the expansion packs. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I have been experiencing with this aircraft. I program everything into the FMC correctly, I climb without an issue, but the main problem I noticed with LNAV and VNAV enabled while I cruise is that the airplane seems to rock left and right (it stays on course though) and there isn't an issue flying the route, it is just that it will rock into random 5-10 degree banks then do the same to the left, then level out and repeat the pattern again. The aircraft has no issue maintaining the altitude. If any of you have had this issue and know if a fix that would be great! Other than that, no issue flying it, I am currently enroute from Salt Lake to Atlanta in the -800 and it is flying beautifully (with the exception of that one problem). I understand it was just released and nothing will be perfect obviously. Thanks for any input, Joseph
