  1. Hi Jim, thanks for your help. The drives are all seen and healthy. But i think (the installer is currently running) i have fixed it. I found this fix-it, from Microsoft itself: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651/en It detected some old files with regards to my old FSX installation, and got rid of it. Which was exactly what I thought it would be the issue. I'm quite happy at the moment. Thanks guys!
  2. I just tried to install it in E:/games. But still, it keeps changing it to C:/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Does anybody else have any idea on how to fix this? It's driving me insane... The C: drive doesn't even have enough space at the moment.
  3. I will try that tonight. Everything else is working fine on the E-drive. I have several other programs installed on it. If you know other things i could try, please tell. Becaus i think it will end in a reinstall of windows..
  4. Hi! Because i wanted to try the new 737 turorial, i needed to install fsx. I want to install fsx on my E: drive. So i changed the path during the installation to E:/program files (x86)/microsoft games/fsx. But for some reason, the installer ignores the directory i want to use, and puts it into C:/program files (x86) (etc). What i think is the reason for this, is that i had fsx installed on my C drive about a year ago. So I removed every mention of 'fsx' from my registry using a registry cleaner. I also removed the folders in application data regarding FSX. So there is nothing on my C drive containing old stuff about my old FSX installation. But the installer still keeps installing it on my c drive. I also tried to run the installer with admin rights, but that didnt help either. There is a microsoft games folder created on my e drive, but that only contains a "fonts" folder. Aftr that, the installer installa everying on c:/program files (x86)/microsoft games/fsx. Is there something i could to to make it work on my E: drive? (it needs to be E because C is an SSD with very limited space available.) I use windows 7 64 bit. And fsx used to run perfectly on it, so that is not the issue, i think.
  5. Not sure if this has been asked before. (Don't have time to search the forum for it)But my question is, is there any visual difference between the 6700 cockpit and the 8900 cockpit?
  6. Could you post a link to this video?
  7. I have the same problem, but I was told by the PMDG support that it is an issue with the NVidia driver. And that Nvidia seems to be unwilling to fix it..
