To PMDG This question may have been asked already but i couldnt find an answer. Now that the 747 v3 is complete, has there been, or is there plans to release the the Triple 7 in the other aircraft and engine models? And would this be a simple update, or a paid upgrade? Thanks. Marc cain

ETOPS = Engines Turning Or Pilots/Passengers Swimming. Its still a nice piece of mind having 4 engines, even though the modern twin jets are more reliable. Just remember, in a complex machine anything can happen

I beg to differ, in my experience when I set flex temp to assumed OAT I get a very low epr setting like 50.5. When I increase the flex temp even a single degree I get a normal type setting for epr like 105.2. That could be connected to a separate issue or bug I the code.

Might be a silly question but I noticed our mtow is 630,...lbs that is the same as the ER. While our max fuel is the same as the standard version. The mtow should be 602,...lbs if that is the case, any thoughts on this?

Check your flex temp setting isn't resulting in a low n1 or epr setting. This has happened to me, just increase the flex temp and you should be fine.

Hello everybody, i have i unique problem that i have never encountered that i hope one of you experts may be able to help me with. I have had to do a full reinstall of fsx for the hundred and first time, and when i went to uninstall it i used windows cleanup utility. FSX was still listed in the program add/remove list, and when double clicked it couldnt remove from the list, so i used cc cleaner to delete the listing in the list. When i tried to reinstall fsx from the cd the remove/repair option widow popped up. i was able to fix that issue and final load fsx, but it never should in the program list, as well, i cant install acceleration do to "unknown component keys error" Does anyone have a solution to thiis. Thank you for any help you can lend me.

i had to reinstall fsx, but now, for the first time i have sound issue. All the sliders are set correctly, and sound card up to date. The sound is perfect in all views except the spot views, the volume level is extremely low, almost silent, is this a PMDG 777 bug?; i have only installed their addon MD11 737 and 777. or is this something else that someone can help me with.BTW all aircraft are effected the same. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey everybody, i hope someone can help me with this. i have just reinstalled fsx with accel with the same addon aircraft i had before, but now the sound volume in all spot views is extremely low. i have the sound sliders set the way i always have so there not an issue, and all the other views, i.e vc, wing view all have sound (jet engine, wind) at the normal level. Any ideas?

thanks for the replys. I didnt relize that i wasn't signed in with my full name. still learning my way around the forum. And dont get me wrong i am very happy with all PMDG product, they are all i fly, i thought they might include the flap fairings upgrade do to the real life counter-part having this upgrade.

I am new to the forum, so i dont know if this has been asked already. This question is directed to PMDG: are there any plans to update the MD11 to include the flap fairing extensions, and possible re-model it with the same technic as the NGX, triple7, and soon to be V2 747.
