  1. ..or on contrary, Flight 1 is afraid about their reputation after Carenado released C550 and Hawker 850...:-)))
  2. Craig, bearing in mind that he had mentioned running PMDG (I could guess NGX???) smoothly, there is nothing wrong with his system....the problem is called CARENADO.In my machine PMDG J41 with marvelous VC and excellent systems simulation is also running much better than C550 with IGS modification, reduced VC textures and cmeteo disabled....
  3. Dear Bert, ROGER OVER, or everything is clear to me now:-))) MANY THANKS, Petr
  4. Dear community, I would like to ask, which autopilot vertical mode do you use in climb? I am succesfully using C550 with famous ISG mod v.1.7. prepared by Janek Bln, however would like to know, how do you climb with this bird? I have to use V/S mode, as using IAS mode is not reliable, at least in my case. The plane is jumping up and down, unable to keep selected IAS during climb, even if properly loaded and trimmed. Did I miss any patch prepared by Bert / anyone else or is there any other solution? Maybe I missed something in this forum. Many thanks in advance for the advice.
  5. Exactly Craig, Jimmy touched the topic, it was mentioned exactly how he understands it:-)) English is not my mother tongue, so other people would probably say it differently.Without all those great enthusiasts, Carenado´s C550 would be already another forgotten project making community just angry.I simply do not understand why the Carenado cannot contact those people and with their permission cannot implement all their patches and changes to the official product.Sure, they should reward them somehow then. However, their approach (Carenado´s) is making lot of people crazy.
  6. Sure, carenado´s C550 is far from being perfect, their price policy and customer support is not worth for a comment. However, THANKS to people here like Bert Pieke, JaknekBln, Craig and probably others, the plane is flyable at present. 1. I am using basic pack with carenado´s partch and: 2.http://www.isgsim.com/?page=panel_library⊂=retro_carenado_s550 3. ISG mod v.1.71 thanks to Janek Bln 4. and updated powe scalar, see here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/460510-how-the-s550-went-from-being-a-frustration-to-one-of-my-faves/ 5. Finally, lot of interesting info is available also here, EVCHARISTO to Kyprianos Biris! http://www.oav.gr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1805 To those people and sorry if I missed anybody, should Carenado send written apology with coupon for all their products free forever... After above mentioned patching that takes up to 1 hour altogether, the plane is decently flyable in IFR conditions as well. So is is up to you, happy landings!
  7. I think that easiest option is described here: http://www.isgsim.com/?page=panel_library⊂=retro_carenado_s550 and http://forum.avsim.net/topic/460037-s550-with-isg-fms/page-10 I am using it along with Janek´s patch V1.61 without any issues. Not in the last point, ISG FMS is fully updateable every month, unlike their Navigraph FMS.They use some NAVIGRAPH database from 2013.Really, it is difficult to undderstand WHY CARENADO is unable to produce at least ONE PRODUCT without major issues. For Instance, MAJESTIC DASH 8 400Q for practically the same money like Carenado´s Citation 550 is completely another league.
