  1. Any news so far about a possible new beta build for ASE ? Regards, Chris
  2. Can B655 still be considered as "beta" or is it the final SP4 ?Working very nice, btw...Chris
  3. Until now, I thought B651 was the latest beta update for ASE ... if there's a newer one, where can I find it ?Regards,Christoph Reule
  4. Well, first of all, have you tried to reduce the CAVOK cloud generation slider in ASE to zero ? CAVOK itself does NOT mean CLR or NCD, it just says there is no ceiling (that is broken or overcast cloud layer) or CB below the MSA at the reporting airport... this means the sky can be covered up to 4 octas (= scattered) and tell you CAVOK ... Regards, Christoph
  5. Hi, as far as I can see I'm quite sure you fetched up how interpolation in ASE generally works . I conclude with you that it would be more "useful" if ASE skipped some "non-valid" data used for interpolation, but only under certain conditions to avoid possible "weather gaps"... for example you could say a station should be skipped if it's outdated and/or out-of-range (distance), but there need to be at least two (or better three) valid reports for proper interpolation ... just my thoughts ... Regards, Christoph Reule
  6. Hi, I have just downloaded the beta build B650, but during installation the revision log shows no information about the enhancement to surface temperatures and on the ASE main screen it displays build number 649 (not 650), so I'm not sure whether it's really Build 650 or not ... Besides that, thanks for your great support, ASE is working very well ... Regards, Christoph Reule
