  1. Okay, having spent quite some time looking through this forum I'm coming to the conclusion that, despite what the blurb says, this program does NOT work with FS9. Am I right? Jetset
  2. Hi, Can anybody HEELLPP? I installed Tileproxy Beta 8 today. Read through Ed Truthan's amazingly well written and thorough Quick Guide and installed the program for FS9 and FSX (I have both). Edited the two .ini files as suggested. Ran Tileproxy and all seemed well until I ran FS9. No scenery at all, just black ground and blue sky. Left FS9 running for about 20 minutes until it shut itself down! (Got bored I expect). The Tileproxy DOS window seemed to be doing it's stuff all the while and was producing large numbers of 'hits'. After repeating this exercise over about 2 hours I gave up and gave FSX a try. Changed the proxyuser.ini file, as suggested by Ed, started Tileproxy again, ran FSX and heh!, there was the Tileproxy scenery straight away - no problem at all! And brilliant scenery too. One thing I did notice was that in the MS DOS window the FSX program produced asterisks (*) in groups but these didn't appear when I ran FS9 as far as I recall. So why won't it work in Fs2004/FS9? Can anybody tell me? I'm using Windows XP with all the upgrades (I think). As advised by the installation program I installed the program in to my FSX directory/folder. Do I need to install it in the FS2004/FS9 directory/folder as well? Would appreciate your help. Thanks. Jetset 10 P.S. How do you see post titles rather than the poster's name?
