Low Fps in Virtual Cockpit of 737 ngx
As the title says,When flying with the pmdg 737(VC view) my framerates are really low (approx 9).The strangest thing is that from external views i get more than 55 fps...There is an intregrated fps limiter in the fmc but i dont see any difference even after editing the numbers. Is there anything i can do to solve this issue and finally fly without such problems? Here are my pc specs:AMD ASUS HD 6950 Direct cu IIIntel Core I7 860 @3.36 GHzCoolermaster Gx 750 W PSU4 gigs RamWindows 7 ultimate 64bitH60 Hydro Series (cooler)gigabyte h55m ud2h MOBOThermaltake overseer (case)(9 led fans)

Thanks for replying,!I oveclocked my cpu to 3.36 gHZ...Now i see a MASSIVE climb in my fps!I get 58+ fps when flying above fsx default scenery (test was made with the ngx) and 43+ fps when flying above orbx scenery. You guys were correct.Overclocking solved my problem but now the cpu is getting really hot!My cpu cooling is effective enough ( Corsair H60 Hydro Series) but when loaded cpu reaches temperatures close to 65 degrees celsius...Is this normal for an overclocked i7?Please let me know if there is any other cpu in market that can run fsx without beeing so stressed.Anyways let me answer to peterhayes questions--->HT is ON//Yes power management is at maximum//I dont really know how to defrag a HDD//No.Its almost empty//Corsair's H60 Hydro Series (i think its good enough)//Only a few programs running when playing FSX//Vsync off Triple Buffering On//No

As the title says....the last 20 days im trying to find out why does FSX not run smoothly.I get 15-35 FPS and when flying with payware such as the 737 ngx in low altitudes the game is completely unplayable. The strangest thing is that my rig is pretty strong .I tried to edit fsx.cfg with bojote's tweaking tool. Then i got +5 fps or so....I also bought from simmarket FSX Booster but it dindnt help either...Graphics are not maxed out but the sliders are pretty high.Im using rex 2.0 +overdrive and i usually fly over ORBX scenery. Please let me know if you need extra informationHere are my system specs:AMD Radeon 6950 (ASUS) Direct CU II 2GBIntel Core i7 CPU 860 @2.98 GhzWindows 7 ultimate 64 bit4 gigs of RAMCoolermaster GX 750 W PSUGigabyte H55M-UD2H MoboH60 Hydro SeriesThermaltake overseer II (CASE)
