No problem my PMDG 747 with Fixer.

I'm having this bug I can reproduce when bloom is enabled in DX10.

I'm using DX10fixer, but it was happening before. Whenever I cross cloud altitude, I get these fast flashing black squares in the sky.

As soon as I am above the clouds, the effect disappears. I've seen this happening on the last two full re-installations of FSX Acceleration. I'm using REX clouds (changing cloud res doesn't matter).

 

This bug completely disappears as soon as I disable bloom in FSX display settings.

 

Anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

I have exaclty the same issue.

CTDs, OOMs and OOMs alert from FSUIPC belong to the past! :Party:

Landing with PMDG 737 NGX at Aerosoft EHAM, FsDreamteam KLAX and UK2000 EGLL was not possible with DX9. Now even with bad weather i could have low fps but no OOM alert! :p0504:

Also i don't use IOBIT's Game Booster anymore!

Colors and visual depth of sceneries look so real!

The shine of the sun with bloom look so real too! 

The only downside is "moving" jagged lines of jet panels at zoom 0.70.

Toggling the Vox taxi markings off and back on doesn't help either, I assume?

You assume right. Maybe i must post this bug to their site.

The request made when i'm at the gate. I was at LSGG gate 11 and the atc tells me to taxi to rwy 23 but i wanted rwy 05. My request accepteed by atc but the problem is the purple arrows that keep showing me the route to rwy 23! Of course i push the route direction after the acceptance of atc and not before.

I'll post soon my first month positive feedback about Fixer!

Yes my friend! Not only no OOMs but even no OOM alerts from FSUIPC with PMDG 737 NGX at Aerosoft EHAM or UK2000 EGLL where almost always never succeed to land with DX9.

IIRC, Vox has read ATIS with more than one runway in use.

 

You can always request a runway different from the one assigned by Vox, to avoid 'traffic jam".

When VOXatc tells me to go to runway e.g. 5 and i ask runway 23 and ask for direction, the purple signs keep show me the direction to runway 5!

Woops, just realized you meant this is set within FSX settings, not with these third party tools. 

Not in FSX. In DX10 Fixer.

Worked for me too! I noticed 5-10 frames increase. At another post i wrote that i missed the smoothness of free patches. I think that maybe the secret of this smoothnes hiding in the bloom setting of the Fixer!

DX10 is a new journey and i think that Steve and DX10 fans will discover new tricks and settings that will lead the sim to perfection. 

I love DX10 but i missed the smoothness of free patches. I remembered that i had the same frames as now with the Fixer (25-30fps) but it was smoooooth!!

How can i get this performance again? At this moment my DX9 is smoother than DX10.

Thx for link, but the driver is not there for dl. Does this version 'solve' the DX10 spike issue on AMD cards?

Yes Paul I'm a guy with humour and this makes me face more easily life diffilulties and ...FSX issues :smile:

I would love to have nvidia too but my system came stock with ati. Until this driver issue i never experienced other probs and i'm satisfied with its performance and image quality. And with DX10 i don't think i would change anything in my system for the next 2-3 years. Only if DX11.............

As an ATI 6850 user i experienced the same issue. ATI DRIVER 13.9 IS THE PROBLEM. GO BACK TO 13.4

Why shouting? Because i'm very angry with AMD. I spent 3 days to find it and i was just one step before reinstall FSX.

The "DX10controller.exe" was in the ...virus box of my antivirus program :blink:

I had it in gaming/silent mode so it didn't notice me and when i insisted all the folder and the download file disappeared in front of my eyes and i couldn't find it anywhere in my pc!

I found it by luck because today my antivirus updated to a new version and i checked the virus box to see if there were any viruses.  

The strange thing is that i must disable my antivirus in order to download or get the Fixer work.

Do you know where you installed the Fixer?

In Program Files. It worked fine but i do many cfg rebuilds due to this unacceptable 13.9 ATI driver that caused me many CTD and maybe this file corrupted. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Fixer but it keeps ask me the location of the controller.

If you hit the start all programs you should find it under stevefx

UPDATE: This issue caused by this damn ATI driver 13.9! :diablo:  This driver also messed up My Traffic X and VoxAtc! I uninstalled it and install the 13.4 version and everything OK!

I click on the DX10 Fixer icon in my Desktop and the following message appears.

Any solution?

sorry, english is not my language, i try to search something about my problem in my language but i didn't find it.

I have a new pc, win7 64 bit installed, and radeon 7750 installed. I have already fsx accelleration pack installed but it runs only with dx10 enabled. When i try to disable and run again FSX in dx9 mode i have a black screen or after 2 or 3 click of mouse FSX crashes to desktop.

Anyone knows how can i do?

Do you keep the same FSX.CFG file when you switch back to DX9? And if so, what edits (if any) do you manually make to the file? And do you still run AA from FSX after switching back to DX9? Or do you go back to NI for AA, and if so- what settings?

As asked above, any changes to libraries?

Cfg files are rebuilded in both DXs. I uncheck AA in FSX cause SweetFx not work in DX9 if it is checked. No settings to libraries. I have FSPS Xtreme and change between 2 profiles: DX9 and DX10 so Xtreme turns on and off the Fixer automatically. 

I thought dx10 Fixer was claiming better FPS other than looking better I have had nothing but problems especially with pmdg products in dx10, guess its back to dx9 as fixer is unusable as is.

The only serious and weird issue is the fps drop in DX10 and the fps rise in DX9. Be patient. I think that is something in the Fixer that Steve could change.

You're right! Steve just "tell" the Fixer to rise up the fps in DX10 not in DX9! So simple :rolleyes: I love DX10!!!!!!!!!

I switch to DX9 just to see if i have the same results and ...yes! I have double frame rate in DX9 than DX10! Almost 40+ in DX9 and 20+ in DX10 at FSdreamteam KLAX (on the ground)!

Before the fix i had 20fps in DX9. And until now i never managed even with the lowest settings to get DX10 to frames over 20! And i remember with the free patches to have 40+ fps.

So maybe something in the Fixer is in reverse mode?  

As i wrote to another thread you must enable SMAA in SFX and set all SMAA parameters to 0 (zero) and you'll notice that the image will become clear like when SFX is off. :wink:

Also disable Lumasharpen.
