I only see the flight test packages (and missing engine blades) when I preview 2 or more liveries without closing FSX between previews (in the T7 Intro manual).

John, that was the problem It's always something small that you forget that causes the biggest nuisance.

After entering the key commands for the A/T, A/P Disengage switches in the FMC, is there anything else that is needed to keep them since everytime I shut down FSX I lose those commands in the FMC. It's a pain to keep re-entering them as I'm following the FSUIPC setup from AoA 737 Training.

After having no problems with my joystick after restoring back to before REX I tried installing MCE and my joystick disappeared again after a short time. So there is something there that doesn't like an external program having acess to FSX. Next time I'm going to remove FSUIPC4 and install REX and see what happens.

I'm using Windows 8 and I have the problem of the disappearing joystick also but during the last few days I've did a fresh install of Win 8, installing FSX and each add-on, creating a restore point then running a flight to see what happened. I have previously tried 2 different joysticks - Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke / Pedal / Quadrant setup, which included trying the disable the USB power saving shut down method plus otherthings I can't remember now but all failed. I started first off with adding FSUIPC4 (not registered), my ORBX scenery, PMDG aircraft then REX in which the joystick disappeared. I'm still to add MCE and a couple more but it is looking like REX is causing my joysyick to disappear. I don't know why it would but when I restored my PC back to before I installed REX it was all normal as I did a complete flight from PAKT to CYVR and not a problem but before the joystick could go anytime.
