Considering the traffic with the 4.3 release I wanted to post the link to the Youtube interview FSElite did with LM at FSExpo in its own thread. This is a very open discussion with great info and not like their traditional formulaic and cryptic corporate PR releases. I also feel this interview puts to rest a lot of the opinionated debates about LM's development focus and target audience.

For those wondering about non-VR performance improvements whether you are seeing them or not they are there. As @simbol has mentioned, YMMV depending on your settings and/or hardware. LM directly states that any improvements to VR "translates directly to non-VR too" in their interview with FSElite (see below at 3:50) So for those (like myself) that don't use VR should still care about VR improvements. Also if you haven't seen the interview it is worth a watch!

Has there been any mention of anybody planning to stream RSR's presentation at FS Expo?

I backed up multiple 747 QotS II aircraft in one PTP. When I try to restore I get a dialogue box (https://imgur.com/T7LDDw1) that lists the aircraft in the file and says to select one. I do and press OK then nothing happens.... I have a custom naming convention and don't want to have to download all those aircraft again and make changes...... The aircraft that I backed up one at a time (had the custom naming too) imported just fine.

This is the reason I chose Chaseplane over EZDok2. A camera tool should NOT affect the flight dynamics/physics simulation of an aircraft. I have both and use LNM for an inflight EFB-type role. @Bobsk8 and @Benjamin J might also want to check out https://www.simbrief.com/home/ . It is basically a free web-based PFPX that has a static AIRAC (I think it is 1703). It includes all the climb, cruise, descent, ETOPS, etc planning and you can customize and save your own specific aircraft. If you want to get into runway performance planning, don't waste your money on TOPCAT. It has been abandoned by the developer for a few years now (although they still support PFPX). If I get into a questionable situation (ie 747 on a mid length runway) I use a free tool: QSim Planner https://qsimplan.wordpress.com/ .

Jim, I think you should make a pinned forum topic regarding 4.2 and updating FSUIPC. I just updated from 4.1 to 4.2 today and ran into the issue immediately. Luckily some shrewd Google searching led me to the solution but others might not have that initiative.....

This is an FSUIPC issue.....update to 5.124 and the problems should go away.

Per their own press, unlike the previous one it is going to be a PMDG level simulation which would command a PMDG level price.... I'll wait personally. I learned my lesson with the BBox A330/340. Still waiting for TFDi to finish the 717.....
