Too Many Addons Talking = Simulator Meltdown. Retire FSX?
That gave me a jolly laugh! As I pondered the picture it made very good sense. Perhaps some day my old computer and fsx will run so Hot running all these programs it will create a small sun. Something to look forward too. It is amazing all of these programs talking with each other. I can't even phatom what the flow chart to this program would look like on paper. Jim

Could I get some feedback from real Fsx users?
Whenever you watch a show or news they give you only a few seconds before changing views. When my buddy and I put our road trip vids together we keep that in mind but always fail as well. ...lol. Jim

Errorless Unprecedented CTD
Had similar issue this past week as you. Mine had to do with FSDT addon manager. As per a thread over in there forum I needed to download the latest addon manager on there website. It fixed the issue. Worth checking out. Hope you get thing figured out. It sucks when these fsx issues happen. Jim

fsx hanging and/or lagging problem
Same issue here. Hitting the aircraft or location tab on opening splash screen causes delay for a min or so. Once youn are in the sim choosing these option is not a problem. Look up logbook recovery fsx. This has seemed to help a few folks with this issue. It is a corrupt logbook entry or something that causes the delay. The recovery utility will fix your logbook. I ran the program but it did not find any errors. For me it seems to speed it up a bit but still a delay. Jim
