Any progress on this, Steve? I've been waiting a couple weeks now to give you my money...

I have the original "Deluxe" DVD. I'm assuming I can download the service packs? Should I bother buying the acceleration pack? I saw a couple of complaints that some things don't work with it. Do many add-ons require it? I'm guessing that even if I can't run DirectX 10 I can still have excellent graphics??? Sorry for the dupes. Obviously if there'd been some kind of response to my original submit I wouldn't have clicked post again.
