Ortho4XP for FSX/P3D
I was having issues with Ortho4XP not creating the ADDON_SCENERY folder(s). Then I installed ImageMagick-7.0.8-10-Q8-x64-dll in the "dist" folder. It is working now. However, it keeps opening resample.exe in separate windows and takes focus away from my other windows - like while I'm typing this! It's annoying and I don't know anyway around it. But resample.exe is finally loading and the folder was created as it should...after installing ImageMagick

New York City X and Prepard3d v2.1
I'm not sure if this is even remotely the issue or if you verified this, but is the correct entry located in the Scenery.CFG file for this area? I don't have EMT. My Scenery.CFG is located here: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 There should be lines near the bottom for your installed scenery like this: [Area.xxx] (xxx = area number) Title=New York X (or whatever it's called) Local=D:\Prepar3D v2\aerosoft\New York X\ (or whatever directory it installed to, I don't have it) Active=TRUE Layer=xxx (same number as in Area.xxx above) Required=FALSE

P3DV2.1 stutter or no stutter
I have not seen this mentioned yet in the thread, or I'm lacking in reading and comprehension, but what background processes are running while testing for stutters? Do you have MS Essentials or other virus protection running? Are you using a utility like Razer game Booster to eliminate background processes? Joystick control or gaming center? Webcam? Using the browser to view media like Flash or Java content?

P3DV2.1 stutter or no stutter
I just tried setting NI to nVidia defaults (except the Bioshock) after testing a few flights (KMIA, KATL). With NI defaults, I now have stutters which I didn't have before using the same P3D2.1 settings. ?!???? Framerates 28-32fps at night, KMIA I guess that was directed at me. I saw a question I could answer but was without regard for the topic. My apologies. I won't step in that situation again. If I could delete it, I would.

P3DV2.1 stutter or no stutter
Windows 7? Open up an explorer window. In the box at the top type %appdata%\Lockheed (at this point, you should see "Lockheed Martin" in a pull-down list of options. Select Lockheed Martin and you should see Prepar3d v2. If you do not have the dll.xml file (I didn't when installed 2.0 and 2.1) you can create it. If you have FSX, use that as a guide.

Lockheed Releases P3D V2.1
I did some explorimenting (exploring/experimenting) today and this evening. My system seemed like it was powerful enough - 3570k (O/C'd to 4.2 GHz so far), 8 GB RAM, P3D2.1 on an SSD, EVGA GTX 650 Ti Boost SC. I read how most flyers/simmers are maxed out on settings and traffic and getting smooth results. I haven't been able to do that and, until I did some changes to P3D2.1 display settings, I was getting some major stutters on the ground and in-flight. So far I found, on my setup at least, turning OFF shadows helped a great deal. I also removed the reflections under the water settings. I don't need them. I mean, it's "pretty", but I'd rather fly. I was able to add 10% road traffic and minimum airport vehicle density. The stuttering went away. Terrain LOD is Ultra, High Tessellation Factor, 5m Mesh Resolution, 60cm Texture Resolution...Very Dense Scenery Complexity, Normal Autogen Vegetation and no autogen buildings (I don't see a point to them). Low special effects and no Bathymetry. No stutters, no OOMs, and frame rates - for those keeping track - vary between 29fps minimum up to 72fps depending on the aircraft. Yes I would like to add traffic, shadows and other eye candy options, but right now, it's smooth and stutter free. I am using the latest nVidia beta drivers. I think that once nVidia recognizes P3D it will be much better.

Not sure about ENB, but SweetFX does work. It seems, for me at least, the stutters are more prominent with it on, though. Not sure if SweetFX is the cause or something else. I'm still testing and configuring the settings. I'm getting stutters if SweetFX is on or off.

Lockheed Releases P3D V2.1
Michael2, I found the save controller profiles issue minor as well, but I was able to save them by clicking on "Export File" and in the "Save As" box, type the filename there. This will populate the filename in the Export Controls area, then click "OK" to save it. Thank you for reporting that the controls will save once you exit P3D. This was nagging me because the controls had to be reconfigured every time. I am getting micro-stutters on my end, which I was not seeing in 2.0. Nothing on "max" here. I tried with and without SweetFX - which works, btw.

Lockheed Releases P3D V2.1
My experience so far... Applied the patch to existing 2.0. Fatal errors after compiling scenery, or whatever it does upon loading. Uninstalled 2.0, installed fresh/clean 2.1. Looks fine so far, but my joystick button assignments and axes are not saving. Actually, just changing aircraft (vehicles) seems to mess with the assignments as well. I have changed the joystick buttons/keys and axes settings and exported the controls. I exit P3D2.1 and reload and notice the assignments are not what I set them at so I import the joystick controls and THOSE are not correct! So I have to keep changing the joystick button and key assignments AND the axes.

AA workaround for NVidia cards
It appears I have the same NI version but under Antialiasing - Setting, you have an option that I do not see in the drop-down list. "AA_MODE_METHOD_SUPERSAMPLE_4X_BIAS" I don't know if it will work, yet, but I was able to manually type that in.
