  1. That is a beautiful unit but it might cause some problems for me. 1. It won't mount in my Obutto R3volution cockpit too easily. 2. Flying the PMDG MD-11 would leave me feeling like I'm missing something essential. 3. My wife might kill me. In all seriousness, I have received some guidance from Pete Dowson on editing my fsuipc.ini. I hope to have my reverse working like it should as soon as I get a chance to edit it. Ian
  2. I apologize for replying to a thread that is nearly 4 years old but it didn't seem to make sense to start a new one. I am trying to configure my TQ6 the way that Arjen did. However, my fsuipc.ini is from version 4.x.x. The newer ini file is coded differently. Does anyone know how to implement Arjen's solution using the newer fsuipc.ini? Thank you,
  3. IXEG announced that it will be released this Saturday. I am tempted to try out X-Plane now.
  4. I am 36. In the last few years I have visited and photographed the cockpits of a 734, A320, and a CRJ(200?). All were with AWE/US Airways (US Airways Express for the CRJ).I was denied a visit post flight on a 757 due to maintenance issues and a crew change. Otherwise, it was looking good. My biggest fear is upsetting my wife while she juggles our two kids after everyone else has deplaned. As a kid, I visited at least one cockpit but don't have pics. One was a classic 747. I believe it was Aer Lingus.
  5. Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, this did not fix it. I also also re-installed the 777 which did not fix it either. It might be worth mentioning that the VC displays the yoke all the way to the left, and the throttles are in the full power position when I have this problem. Thank you,
  6. Hello I recently upgraded Prepar3D from 2.4 to 2.5. I had some issues with the install that necessitated uninstalling 2.4 and re-installing 2.5. Once I was satisfied that it was working properly, I installed the PMDG 772. My current issues: 1. Upon initial loading of 777, everything appears to be ok. However, I'm getting some errors with joystick assignments. Tonight, Throttle #2 advanced itself to the midway position. I could only bring it back to idle by using the mouse. I triple checked everything in FSUIPC and the assignments and calibrations are correct. Everything works fine with the default Iris F22. 2. The biggest issue - if I reload the 777 or it is automatically reloaded following a crash, the MFD's are blank, the landing gear is missing, nothing is animated and it appears that I can't click anything in the cockpit. It might be worth mentioning that I had problems with the 777 loading that brought up the error message that it was unable to load its working files. However, this issue seems to be resolved after I modified the permissions in my Prepar3D directory to allow full access. I'm using a Saitek yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog Throttles, TrackIr5, and Saitek rudder pedals. I use FSUIPC for all joystick assignments and have Prepar3D set to ignore all joysticks. As far as I know, all of my software (FSUIPC, PMDG, Prepar3D) is up to date. I'm running all of this on an AMD 1090T 3.2 with a stable OC to 3.6ish, an R9 270X video card, 16 GB RAM and 3 Dell 23" monitors. Thank you in advance,
