  1. Thank you very much for your reply!!! Looking forward to the Dc-6
  2. So excited..But a bit worried. I see that the triple seven PMDG created for FSX they recommend running a 64bit operating system so FSX does not run out of memory. Now i heard that the Dc-6 wont be as a guess detailed as the 777 but will they still recommend a 64 bit or no? Other then that cant wait
  3. Hey Everyone, So I started up my computer for the first time in 5 months. I was up north flying for the summer and when I came home I had alot of updates to be installed. Anyways I have never had an issue with FSX or PMDG at all. Starting up FSX has always been smooth and timeless. After installed all the Windows updates, and defragmenting the computer I started up FSX and got the following error: Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program Name: PMDG Sound Dynamic Link Library Version; 10,0,61355,62 Company: PMDG File: PMDG\DLLs\PMDGSounds.dll Then it says to you want to run this software and I click no, so I can run FSX and it told me to uninstall the product to not see the error again. I was just wondering, could this be because I didn't install an update from PMDG? Thanks Kyle
  4. Hey guys, Just need a little help with my computer. I want to run higher graphics and have very smooth running flights with no chopyness during the game. It seems like just running a PMDG 737 NGX or a captain sim 707/ 737 its slow to load from different views and flying through weather slows down my computer. Im not going to lie, I also am not the best with computer stuff. I can fix a car but not my computer. I don't really have a budget and don't mind spending a bit of money to make everything run much faster and have a more enjoyable flying experience. Currently this is what I have! Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 HP Computer Model Number P6152F Rating 4.4? Processor: AMD Phenom 8450 Triple-Core Processor 2.10ghz Memory (RAM) 4.00GB System Type: 64 Bit Operating System Is there anyway to upgrade the computer without losing any saved programs or payware aircraft I have bough on with FSX? Thanks a bunch Kyle
  5. AWESOME!!! Thank you!!!!!
  6. Thank for looking in. I just didn't know if PMDG will be making a detailed one like the 777 or not. But I deff will be ordering a DC-3 Manual forsure
  7. All very good points for-sure. But yes a detailed manual like a 777 would be awesome like the other user said. I'm sure someone who is used to flying a 737 would get lost in a DC-6. I love piston pounders, so for me I get lost just trying just trying to start up and fly a 737 NGX. But yes if detailed manuals exist like we say they do, I do hope PMDG gets them. I'll show em to Buffalo and see what they think of them. As well has anyone bought the Training Manuels from PMDG, like 777 or 737? Just want to know how well they are? And if they are really really detailed like the real ones you get from Boeing?
  8. Very True. There are alot of cargo airlines in Alaska and Africa stilling using these old DC-6's, even they might have them no?
  9. Oh no I agree. I was just looking at there website tonight, and saw just how big there package for the Boeing 747, 737, and 777 worth of flight manuals they have. If its $473 worth of it, and they had it for a DC-6B. Id order it for sure.
  10. O Darn I was hoping for some good reading Thank you for the reply. Kyle
  11. Hey Guys, Sorry if I make a few mistakes in my first post. I first of all just want to say thank you to PMDG for creating such amazing aircraft. Since I made my way up to Yellowknife to visit Buffalo Airways (Ice Pilots) and put to work I was just so excited to work with the war birds that flew. Since PMDG has a secret project "PMDG DC-6B" I would like to know if there training manuals will be as detailed as the 737NGX or Boeing 777. If so is there a date in when the manuals will be released. I have read a bunch of forums how PMDG doesn't like to give release dates or anything but this would be something im very interested to know. Thanks, Kyle K
