FSX overclocked CPU. Worth it?
CGuldager replied to CGuldager's topic in Shared Cockpits | Multi-Player Forum for FSX | FSX-SE | P3DActually there is an odd thing going on.. Some times, it is like some of the small "squares" of textures are lagging. Like they are not loading fast enough. But it only happens in small squares, and can happen in any direction from the aircraft. Is this caused by the GPU being not fast enough? Cause that would be weired, as it didn't happen with my 9800GTX with 512mb of ram. I have no clue on what settings to fly with, when it comes to my GPU. Please help!

FSX overclocked CPU. Worth it?
Hello I'm running FSX, thinking if it's possible to get those nice FPS with the PMDG 737 with complex scenery add-on? I think overclocking may help me here. My rig: CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k (New cooler needed, i know) MB: Gigabyte P67A UD4 B3 Ram: 8 Gb G.skill Trident DDR3 1600Mhz (8-8-8-24) GPU: XFX Radeon HD7770 1GB GDDR-5 Dual fan PSU: Corsair 450VX Psu Case: Cooler Master Silencio 650 My i7 is running up to 3.8 at stock speeds, but will overclocking close to 5 ghz improve my FPS much?
