One very important point is to save the cfg file as an ANSI type file, not a UTF-8 or other type. This refers to the type of "txt" file code, which is critical. I usually use unicode UTF-8 encoding to save neat characters in my file names such as ★★★ FS9 Tips&Tricks ★★★ P-Save ★★★ and I learned about the ANSI thing the hard way. If you will pardon my digression, I use the copy (ctrl-C) and paste (ctrl-V) to paste unicode characters into text, blogs, forums, etc. You can make folder and file names that have very high visibility. I have 31 TB of drives, 14,000+ folders and over 9,000,000 files so unicode helps me. Here is a bit of text I created to sit around in notepad (as 'unicode.txt' saved as a UTF-8 text and not ANSI as required for the aircraft.cfg file:
I have attached a file I made, which is almost too cool. It can transform your text. Take a look in notepad set on arial unicode ms, bold, 18p type.
