  1. I haven't posted over in the official forums yet, but ii will give a flight a shot without the pedals and see how it goes! At least that might help narrow down some things
  2. Hey guys was hoping someone could have a fix or a suggestion for me with this issue I have been having. Just a pre cursor to this, this is the only plane and download that I have ever had this problem with. During every flight the rudder begins to start going to the left (you can see the rudder pedals in the cockpit slowly changing) even though the actual pedals I am using are centered. I go to calibrate the rudder pedals which works only for a little bit and then it begins to do it again. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated! Some additional info: -I'm using the CH products pro-pedals -auto-coordination is turned off -This problem happens when autopilot is being used, when the yaw damper is being used without autopilot, or just when manually flying. -No matter how many clicks of trim one way or the other the problem still exists with the left rudder being put in. Thank you!
  3. That wasn't all due to a tailwind, don't forget your performance figures are based off of true airspeed not the indicated. You were actually going very fast, and indicated airspeed of 110 on an ISA day at FL270 is about 167ktas which is roughly what the book says you will get at FL270. You will actually fly faster at 270 than any other altitude in the turbo 206 unless you're in a dive of course! Here is a link to the PDF version of the real PIM for the T206H, view page ii (page 2 of the PDF) service ceiling is listed as FL270. http://www.redskyventures.org/doc/cessna-poh/Cessna_206_C206H-TC_T206H_2007_NavIII-G1000+GFC700-POH-PIM-fromCessna.pdf
  4. The winds have nothing to do with his cruise speed there. He is showing us his TAS not GS only the ground speed would be effected by the wind
  5. Not the fuel cut off, the 206 fuel cutoff is the fuel selector has the 4 positions, left, right, both, fuel cutoff.
  6. One big thing I haven't really heard mentioned is the massive size of a 206 cowling and glare shield. I fly the 172 (instruct in it) and 182 (own one IRL) on a daily basis and have been in the 206 several times and 208. The glareshield in the 206 is much higher compared to a pilots view point and it's a much different view than the other three even the caravan, and in fact I find the carenados T206H standard flight profile angles and view from the cockpit exactly match up to what it was for real life for me in a 206 even with the seat cranked up all the way (then again I'm short at only 5"6 so that may effect my perspective) but from my real world experience the sim matches perfectly, that's just a real world to sim comparison, if you want to adjust it to make it more enjoyable in the sim then that's a whole separate thing, and the beauty of a sim!
  7. Hey guys hopefully this helps, you can use a GPS as a legal substitute to track to or from an NDB as long as the GPS is IFR certified. Most approaches (not all) say NDB or GPS so long as it does not only say NDB then you can shoot the approach using the GPS.
  8. Figured we could see where everyone is flying their T182T and maybe get some cool ideas. Right now I'm doing a trip across the US -Florida to California and back, keeping the legs between the upper 300 to mid 500nm range, because that is about the max amount of time I would want to stay in a small GA aircraft for. Plus stopping at some places I would stop in real life since they are places I'd like to go. This is my trip Completed: KDAB - KNEW (Daytona Beach, FL to New Orleans, LA) KNEW - KRBD (New Orleans, LA to Dallas, TX) Planned: KRBD - KROW (Dallas, TX to Roswell, NM) KROW - KPHX (Roswell, NM to Phoenix, AZ) KPHX - KSMO (Phoenix, AZ to Santa Monica, CA) The return trip: KSMO - L06 (Santa Monica to Furnace Creek, CA) this is to reposition for the next leg which will go from the lowest airport in the US Furnace Creek L06 (-210 msl) to the highest Leadville, CO KLXV (9,927 msl) L06 - KLXV (Furnance Creek, Death Valley, CA to Leadville, CO) the lowest airport in the United States to the Highest Airport in the United States KLXV - KIDP (Leadville, CO to Independence KS) - Independence, KS at KIDP is the location of the Cessna factory that produces the piston singles as the Citation Mustangs KIDP - KBHM (Independence, KS to Birmingham, AL) KBHM - KDAB (Birmingham, AL to Daytona Beach, FL)
  9. It will not change, due to the graphics used the photo realistic style the n number is essentially part of the plane, not an overlay like the pre installed fs planes. The only thing changing the n number will do is change what the flight sim atc will call you.
  10. Hey guys I'm Justin and I'm new to the forum. I was hoping I could get some help with a repain. I have a 182T of my own N291JD and I've been trying to find somebody that could help me do a repaint of the Carenado T182T in my aircrafts paint job. If you can help please let me know and if there is anything I can do in return! I can provide as many pictures as necessary. I would also like to make the texture avialable for anyone out there as well. Thanks so much and glad to join the group!
