I kinda get what you all are saying as far as it not being realistic apparently. But I low key prefer a little rumble or whine in the cockpit, sorry if its wrong of me to think that.

I know that the sounds are from a real 737. And I'm not ragging on PMDG's creation (hence why I said the default are just okay). I was just curious if there were alternate sounds of the same aircraft, but from another make. If that makes sense...

Hello Avsim! I was wondering if there were any (free) sound sets for the 737 NGX. The default is just okay, but I've heard that there are others on the interwebs that have more of the moan/whine of the real 73, as well as the well known pitch that we all hear when the plane is at the gate with the engines shut down (I believe its the APU. U know, the faint high pitch that sounds like an air conditioning system monster of a sort) . Yes I have looked into the TSS sound pack, but I could of sworn that there were others somewhere that were better. If anyone of you guy know what I'm talking about, a point in the right direction would help a lot! Thanks.

It's working in my 3.2. Try to uninstall it with the uninstaller and then manually delete the left over files. Then re install.

Hello, I just freshly installed P3D from V3.1 to 3.2. I own the PMDG 737 P3D version ( I have used it normally in 3.1) but when I load it now in 3.2, the screens are blank, the yokes are stuck fully back and deflected to the left. I know this is a DLL thing, and it never asked me to activate it when I installed it into 3.2. Did I miss a step when installing it into 3.2? Thanks. DISREGARD. I installed a simconnect and Coutal and it works.

Hello! It's that time of the year that I refresh my system and reinstall all of my addons. So far P3DV3 and all of the addons I have are uninstalled, both from the Programs and Features and the actual folders are deleted. Anything secret, like in the deep registries, that I also need to take care of, I want my computer to be as if P3D and my addons were never even installed. Thanks

That didn't fix it sadly, I have all of the sounds now! But when I turn on the light individually, its the normal effects, and pressing 'i' crashed the sim.

Hello, So yester was payday and I got my PMDG 737 (all packages) again, as well as PreciptFX and the 737 Immersion pack. I installed everything correctly, but when I load the 737 in the proper conditions (1/4mi viz if you know what I mean) and throw on the lights, nothing happens. I still get the normal lighting effects. I do have the free version of FSUIPC (ASN uses it), but nothing has worked still, in the VFXCentral, it says that it is properly installed. Thanks! (P.S. another issue that is irrelevant, but my 737 doesn't have engine sounds. In the VC or external, all I hear is the systems/hydraulics/and other sounds that aren't the engines or the engine whine.)

Nope. I installed it and I can connect and talk to ATC, but none of the traffic loads. If I load into LAX (on a busy day) there is no other traffic modeled, not even default. But I can still change radio frq's and communicate with the controllers.

How did you get VPilot installed into V3?

Hey, So I got myself a GTX970 and I installed P3D V2.5 again. When I load, the load time seems a bit slow for just the default flight, and if/when it does load, my frames are in the high 50's for a few seconds, but then the sim will randomly freeze and give me a fatal error. I have done a clean install of it twice, no tweaks to the CFG. Anyone know what is up? With my old GTX650, I had LOW FPS, but it never crashed. I'm running an i7 4790K, GTX970, x16GB RAM Win 10 x64. Thanks.

AI Aircraft traffic = 0 Road Traffic= 100 But with no DXT10, it's fine.

Hello, So I recently looked into using DXT10 with FSX, and everything looks normal and dandy, until I turn on the default cars road traffic. When I do, the textures of the cars start to stretch and flash all over the screen. The sky turns black, and the clouds blue, it's a complete mess. But when I turn off the road traffic, all is fine. * this only happens in windowed-full screen* In full screen, it's fine, and in windows not full it's fine as well. I tried messing with the resolutions in the FSX display tab and that only changes the full screen resolution. I fly in windowed full screen. I have DXT10 fixer and I have ran it many time and played with the settings, nothing has solved this yet, I suspect it's a display or resolution issue. Thanks!

@C525B, yes. I am using the middle mouse scroll to change the knob, and after a while of scrolling it does eventually work, I was wondering if there was a fix so I didn't have to waste time waiting for the knob to scroll. @Jim Young, I am using the middle of my mouse to scroll. You're saying I should click the scroll (my mouse has the scroll click function)?

Do you guys see in the 100/300 if you bring your mouse over a knob it high lights green with the arrows? I'm having an issue where if I were to try to scroll to change a dial, nothing would happen, the pages won't change. This is in the VC. In the 2D panel it works fine, but in the 3D panel with the 3D knobs it will occasionally "freeze up" and not scroll. Even if the dial visually rotates, nothing would happen on the panel, until I click away or wait a few minuted. I've noticed it happens a lot if I scroll while my mouse is in the center of a knob, and it doesn't happen as much when its on the far outer area of the knob. I'm trying to describe this the best I can.

Hello, I have the Phenom 300 and I am having a problem where if I try to scroll on a knob on the G1000 or anywhere there is that green high light, it will freeze up and not turn. It will also be highlighted green and turn with the animation, but nothing will happen. So if I try to change pages, the knob will highlight green and may or may not have the turning animation, but the page wont change. This happens on all knobs and wherever there is the green highlight if you drag the mouse over. I found this problem in their Phenom 100, and I haven't found a fix yet. I don't know if it is other products where the green highlight is. THanks!

Thanks! The research I did that led up to the blue screen said I increase the clock speed (45 GHz lets say) to 46 or 46GHz which would turn to 4.6/4.7GHz and increase the CPU voltage. That's where I failed. The blue screen was because of the over clocking and the voltage, I haven't found proper info on how to increase the GHz and CPU voltage to a point they like each other and work better.

I have NO idea how to over clock XD. I've tried it once before and ended up with a blue screen... I flacked up. And many have confirmed the GTX970 is the choice of FaceBook pages and such, what model should I get? I head the Gigabyte model is better, but I have a a horrible history with Gigabyte. And there is also an Asus, MSI, and Evga (i think thats the name) one as well. Which one with pair up best with my system?

Hello! I want to start live streaming FSX (and P3D) with addon aircraft at addon scenery, but with good FPS (35FPS steady). I have an i7 4790K and 16Gb's of RAM, but I have been told my GTX650 is a HUGE bottleneck for my system. So much so that when I try to run P3D, I maybe get 17FPS. I asked around and many people have recommended the GTX 970, and I want to make sure I am 1000% sure it's the right thing to get before spending the $350. So can anyone confirm that if I get the GTX 970 and pair it with my i7 that I will get ~35FPS at addon scenery in an addon airport WHILE live streaming? And if so, should I get the MSI, EVGA, or the Gigabyte model? Thanks!
