I turned off enhanced overcast and that did the trick for me, now I get 15-20 fps when flying over overcast clouds which is bearable for me and I don't see much visual difference either.

Alright thanks for the insight. To be honest I haven't opened the user guide, I'll read it and try playing around with the settings till I get the balance right. Thanks.

I have my download interval set to 15min as well.

Hi If someone can help me, as the title says. I get a massive drop in fps when using live weather on ASN. When I manually set the weather, thunderstorms and CB clouds I get about 30-45 fps but as soon as I set it to live weather, when I'm flying and there's a few overcast clouds around me, it drops to 10 fps or even less. I have tried reducing my antialiasing to 4xS. I use Rex for clouds as well. I have them at 1024. My specs: i7 3770 @ 3.40ghz turbo boost 3.90 Gtx 650 8gb ddr3 ram And I use fsx not P3d

I will try that but the reason i posted here was cos i dont know if the problem is with voxatc or Mytraffic because as i said, when i use the fsx slider and set it to a certain % i see Mytraffic AI, but when i use Voxatc i dont.

I have tried that using the communicator and i select the schedule and it loads something on the registry and stops. But then i still see that Zero on "number of schedules."

Yes i think the problem might be with the schedules, as i recall this had never been the issue previously though so i dont know. how did you configure your schedules?

I had voxatc working properly with Aerosoft MyTraffic 2013 and then i uninstalled MT2013 due to some issues i had on my pc. Now when i reinstalled it, Voxatc would not recognise it and and would only load the default AI. But i had installed some programs and even switched to DX10 with steve's fix during the time when both were working well. Anyone help me please! But the problem is not with MT2013 cos when i set the traffic slider on fsx i can see the traffic at the airports. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs endlessly and nothing seems to help. One thing i have noted though is that on the MT2013 flight editor, in Number of Scheduled flights: it says 0(zero) and i dont think it should be the like that and anything i try to do doesnt seem to change that Zero.

Well i have ftx Global and vector and right now i have a pretty mediocre system and lots of add-ons and my system cant handle it, I want to know how to uninstall Ftx vector(but keep Global)?? i cant seem to find a way!! Anyone please help me if possible.

If anyone can assist me in telling what are the best settings to use for Vector as im getting blurries whenever flying. Fsx.cfg has been optimized using Bojote's tweak and Word Not Allowed's tweaks also. But im willing to tweak it again to help get rid of the blurries im getting.

As the topic says, is there any way to make other parts of the world use the same type of atc used in Europe i.e QNH in Hpa instead of inHg. Because as far as i know only the US uses that?

I don't want to rename FAJS unless its neccesary for what I want. What i want is for Voxatc to issue me SID/STAR's when I fly in and out JNB and hopefully my AI too. My problem though is that with Fsbuild I can only do a flight plan to FAOR(which has SID/STAR's) but then would Voxatc realize I'm actually flying to FAJS? And if possible, to do that for my AI too so they can be assinged SID/STAR's into JNB

Off topic: But another problem I got is that FAJS (Johannesburg International) has been changed to FAOR and since I'm doing most of my flying in this area it sucks cause the cyle I have now has FAJS as FAOR so for FAJS I wouldn't have any SID/STAR's and I read somewhere that ICAO codes are hard coded into the game and its not easy changing them. Not a major train smash though but JNB would be the most appropriate one to have SID/STAR cause its the busiest airport in Africa. Another one I just thought of now, An airport with two parallel runways Voxatc would choose the other runway for Take-off, the one furthest from the terminals which is not the case ofcourse in real life

Yeah I also ended up doing this and not loading it twice and saving flights. LOL still havnent checked for the STAR though, when I was flying to FALE I saw on my FMC 40min into the flight that I was flying to FAPE instead lol so I just ended the flight cause the flight plan was to FALE and I couldn't load the FMC in the air. Might try to fly today if I'm not to busy.

FINALLY! Mhlarsen thank you so much for bearing with me and being so patient! It worked. And Agutz for giving me that crucial final piece to the puzzle. But i did my own flight plan on Fsbuild and then I followed Mhlarsens steps of opening and saving flight plan etc and that important step of not opening 'Find route', then now when I enabled Voxatc they gave me a SID to follow, will still have to fly and see if I get a STAR, gonna do that later though! This is nowhere in the manual!! And the manual is very vague on how to set it up! Once again thank you all for your help!!

Ok yeah I think that might be the problem, I'll try create a flight on FSbuild now and see how it goes with some of Mhlarsen's steps

Problem is when I select FACTFALE_737 PLN on Flightplanner, nothing loads... Don't know if the problem is with Fsbuild because apparently it saves the flight plan to Flight Simulator and not Flight Simulator X, I had to create a folder C:\Documents\Flightsimulator, and all the flight plans I create in Fsbuild go there, it doesn't save them to Flight Simulator X

Managed to load the flight on my FMC with TETAN and GETOK showing, problem now is for Voxatc to recognize my flight plan
